I usually go for the short ribs (which are phenomenal), but I thought I’d try the grilled garlic shrimp for a slightly healthier option. Unfortunately, like the other review said, it’s pretty nasty. They should call it “slightly battered jarred garlic shrimp” instead. The mac salad is delicious though.

So we ordered the Hawaiian barbecue mix and the half-and-half with chicken Katsu and fried shrimp. For both, we got two Mac and one rice, and then an extra thing of rice and a katsu musubi. Let's start with the portion sizes they were huge. It was enough for both of us to take our leftovers for lunch the next day, so that was really great. The barbecue mix was the better out of the two for me, but my friend said the Katsu curry was really good not soggy etc . So I feel like it's safe to say the food was delicious. There were no mistakes in our order and I'll be ordering from them again.

Our order 2 orders of Lemon Peppered chicken 2 orders of chicken Katzu. This is our family staple. Its affordable, good tasting, and a quick order for a last minute meal. The service is prompt and the cashiers are always pleasant. We love the ER location! To make this at home is a effort. When we can, we do. However, most fast food spots are not in the freshness or health range that we'd love to enjoy. Lately, I would pass on 95% of the fast food spots because of the cost for the quality of combo meals. This little restaurant has had a face lift. It is cleaner, more friendly, more choices of food, and now faster service. I've been taking food home from L & L for years. The food is now better, and of course, more expensive. Sometimes the BBQ chicken is over cooked. But, it is still my favorite.

Even the small Loco Moco is filling and delicious. Kalua pork is excellent and the BBQ sauce for it is authentic. Macaroni salad tastes like what you get from a food window in Honolulu.A bit pricey, but the large portions are 1.5 to 2 meals.

This worker warmed my heart. A homeless gentlemen walked in and asked if he could use the restroom. She enthusiastically said yes and directed him in the right direction. When the gentlemen was leaving, he asked if he could fill his cup with water. Again, she enthusiastically said "of course."
