I've had this place bookmarked for a while because of the high reviews and finally got to check it out and WOW I was impressed. This is probably my new favorite taco place and I can't wait to return.We ordered the pollo con crema, mole, and asada tacos. The tacos were all so delicious! To start off, the tortillas themselves were amazing; they're made fresh and were honestly the best I've ever had. The pollo con crema taco was so good and unique. It was chicken in a cream sauce and the flavors in it were sooo good. The mole taco may have been my favorite! That taco has shredded chicken in mole sauce and their mole sauce here is really good; I love that there is a slight spice to it. I'd say the pollo con crema and mole tacos are must orders here. The asada taco was your standard asada taco but it was really good as well. Something that I also appreciate her is that the food doesn't feel excessively oily or greasy. The food here is also pretty affordable and 4 tacos cost us about $12.Service here was also really good! We weren't sure what all the types of meat they offered were because they're in Spanish, and the person helping us was really nice and went through the entire menu for us and described what each item was. The store itself is a decent size with plenty of seating. It is located on a strip mall with a decent amount of parking.

Saw that this taco place was one of the highest reviewed ones in the area according to the yelp top 10 list so we decided why not try it. I got 2 mole tacos and 1 tinga taco and holy mole the tacos were amazing. Everything from the savory and slightly sweet mole flavor to the soft homemade tortillas was perfect. I couldn't ask for anything more out of those tacos especially with how spicy the mole tacos were, spice lovers will definitely appreciate this taco. The price of the food is all extremely fair and the service is great with friendly staff. The restaurant is nice and clean which we appreciated as well. These tacos are definitely one of the best I've had and will definitely be coming here regularly!

Tried this family owned tacos spot in East Los. Easy parking, good prices, and indoor seating. The taco meats and salsa were good. The tortillas were a little dry with not much flavor. Tacos took close to twenty minutes to be done. Nice little tacos spot but I'm not sure I'll be back.

SOOOOO glad I found Kermes on my search for authentic tacos in LA!I visited on a Wednesday around 5pm with my boyfriend. Plenty of parking in the lot out front. There are a couple of tables inside so you can sit and enjoy your food. Order at the front and they'll call you over once it's ready.I ordered the shrimp tacos and my bf ordered the steak tacos. Being from Jersey, we have amazing taco options so the tacos from Kermes definitely hit the spot! Three tacos come in an order. As soon as we ordered you can see the chef in the back starting to prepare your food. SO flavorful and you can tell it was made with love. We were so impressed that we decided to order other menu items to go. We both ordered quesadillas; I got shrimp and he got steak. Their quesadillas did not disappoint either! On top of everything being finger licking good, the prices were ON POINT. So affordable!Sending love from New Jersey!
