Our server was very nice but lots of areas for improvement. She greeted us right away but then we waited 13 minutes to order drinks and dinner. They were out of kids pizza and apple juice but didn’t let us know until we ordered. We never received our side order of mashed potatoes. Our food was brought out with no utensil rolls. We had to cancel our shakes because they took too long. In general everything took too long considering that they were not that busy. The food was below average.

Great place with lovely staff. They truly need much more vegetarian options. Every salad was chicken. Not everyone wants an Impossible burger.All the meals were meat-based. Most of the appetizers were meat-based. Come on, Applebee's. Thank you!
The Applebees on Jamaica Rd Rancho San Diego is a pleasant place great food and friendly service kids welcome with kids menu there is ample amount of parking and handicap parking right in front by the entrance door . Handicap accessible to to tables and restroom . So come and enjoy Applebees

Unfortunately, the steak was overcooked and tough as nails. The flavor was good, but it was mostly gristle and he rest wouldn't break down to enable swollowing. The garlic potatoes lacked the garlic, but were ok as just mashed potatoes. My wife's salad was average at bestThe server made no appearances after she brought our meal. Didn't deliver our water until right before our meal was brought out.Disappointed, as we have had really excellent meals at their other restaurants.
