I live very close to this cafe and I love it! I really love their açaí bowls and their breakfast sandwiches! When I need something refreshing, this is my go to place! Sometimes they are busy and the wait is a little longer but it's worth it! They most definitely have the edge on Starbucks when it comes to food! Perfect place to do homework, work or just relax!

Coffee was some of the best I've had. My only lament is that the coffee came in a paper cup. I'm a coffee snob so that's on me. Daughter and I split a pitaya bowl which was excellent. I usually only like a bite or two but I think I ate half of it. Fresh fresh ingredients, can never go wrong there. I also had a bagel with cream cheese and bacon. Delicious. Perfect ratios. Cafe was very clean and staff was friendly. I'll definitely be back, so I'll bring my own cup! Lots of outdoor seating which I know I will enjoy once the weather warms up some. Definitely check them out. Nice neighborhood vibe.

Been meaning to try this spot and finally got the craving for a bagel. I ordered a salmon bagel ($9.50) and my friend ordered two stuffed croissants ($6.50 each).Salmon bagel: on first glance I thought they robbed me but after my first bite I was pleased. It looked like they only gave me slivers of salmon, but they stuffed bits of it on the top and bottom piece. That thing was evenly blended with all ingredients. Only note is not much cream cheese but I’m biased because I’m a cream cheese addict lol. Would definitely recommendStuffed croissants: they did not look or taste the best. Both were Soggy mush in the center and crispy on the outside. Favorite parts were the burnt pieces around the thing, not a fan of the filling. The cheese reminded me of low quality mashed potatoes. Would not recommend.

So glad there is another choice besides the "well known brand" in my neighborhood. This place is a great alternative. Açaí bowls, smoothies, bagel breakfast sandwiches, and good delicious coffee done any way you like it. Varied menu, something for everyone. Nice service people. Clean dining area.

Cafe Bella has everything you could ever want for breakfast, mom & pop vibes with a drive thru-- whaaaaat?!?! YES please. How could I have missed this El Cajon gem! The service was fast and all the employees were so genuine and sweet. We tried coffee, smoothie and a bagel. But man.... I saw the Acai bowls come out after I ordered! DANG they're HUGE and look amazing. I will definitely be back to try those. My iced Vietnamese coffee was the best, smoothie was so fresh and delish and the bagel was on point. And all that was $18 hours can't beat the affordable prices. I highly recommend and can't wait to come back and try other menu items! Thanks Cafe Bella for this morning's pick me up!

Workers are nice and friendly. Place is clean. Table area is loud. Food was disappointing. Ordered an empanada. Flavors were there, but I was given a microwaved empanada. So the bread was soft and flat and had cold spots throughout. Their Vietnamese iced coffee tasted like a straight shot of coffee. No flavors. Your mileage may vary, but hot food items should not be microwaved.

The guy working the drive thru was really nice. I had a Java chip Bellaccino and it was great. It was thick and not too sweet, just like it should be. If you want something sweeter they have other flavors and options.I come through this area of SD often and this is now my go to El Cajon coffee shop!
