Love the burritos here, the tortillas are authentic & definitely taste home made. If you want real mexican food this is definitely the place

Do not place an order online! My family has had problems with them multiple times. I just placed an order online, went to pick it up and was treated horribly. He did not ask me my name or my order number. He dismissed me and would not serve me. I said I would cancel the order online and just order there. He answered the phone and would not interact with me at all. I walked away and will not be returning.

I had the Quesatorta al Pastor combo, because it looked interesting. Don't let the name fool you into thinking it has cheese in it. What it does have is a very satisfying flavor and texture which I thoroughly enjoyed. They even gave me a free sample of the cinnamon chips, which seemed a bit overcooked.

I love their chunky salsa. But too bad, they no longer put it out if you want more on your taco or burrito. Their tacos or burritos are ok but better than the fake ones from Taco Bell or Chipotle. I usually order a burrito simply to have their chunky salsa.

Carnitas where ok, I've had better. Service is friendly. Would recommend.

Pretty average but good all the same. Nothing to write home about but a good amount of items to choose from and a authentic theme to fit.

I asked them with no cheese! I repeat no cheese, can't listen to simple orders, disappointed how they can't focus, really wanted to give them a 5 star but no!

Super unimpressed. I ordered the Cali-surfin burrito which was just ok and 5 rolled potato tacos. They charged me for 5 and gave me 3. There was almost no potato in the tacos and they gave us one hot sauce and didn’t offer mild or spicy like most taco shops. We will not be returning.

Why, why do I keep going to places that are complete messes. Wife was craving a birria quesadilla. Something that you can get at almost any place that offers birria. First, this place is "Dave's fresh Mexican" not Cotijas. Food has always been good but their service and execution is garbage. Specializing in birria and when I asked for a Birria quesadilla the answer was no, wait no? here is some advice dummy, make a quesadilla, throw in some birria and viola customer is happy and perhaps just perhaps you now have another menu item to offer. Like always there was someone else in there complaining about their order being wrong. MOST IMCOMPETENT PLACE EVER!

The former Cotijas Taco Shop at this location has now been "David's Homestyle Fresh Mexican" ("Home of the Birria Experience") for quite some time - so only the more recent reviews probably are at all relevant. The menu has changed. Prices are relatively high(er) and service somewhat slow(er). A $0.50 surcharge is added if/when paying with a credit card. An ATM is available inside for those needing cash.

So gross. Ordered Surfing Cali Fries. They were dry with burnt Carne asada and rubber shrimp. Said it came with chipotle sauce but there was zero sauce to be found. Also ordered the potato rolled tacos. Disgusting! There was some weird seasoning in the potatoes and they were limp and mushy. Also said it came with sour cream and cheese. It was piled high with cabbage, a drizzle of sourcream on top of the cabbage and had piles of old clumped together cotija. I was expecting real cheese like the other cotijas. Same with the beef rolled tacos, mushy with burnt meat at the ends. Literally the nastiest Mexican food I have ever eaten. Had to gag it down because I didn't want to feel like we waisted our $34.

Food was good. The name has changed to David's fresh Mexican food.
