This review is for jury duty only. Only two stars for the run down facility, cafe and parking. Staff is friendly and helpful. Arrive well before 8 a.m. or parking (free) adjacent to the courthouse is a nightmare. If you serve on a trial, the day starts at 9 so the parking structure is full. Secondary parking is located at Magnolia and Park. It's a strip mall with Rubios, credit union and Motoworld. Parking spaces for courthouse use are marked by yellow lines. Let me begin by saying that we have lived in California for 5 years now and I have already been called for Jury Duty twice compared with once during my 50+ years in Connecticut! My first experience was in Vista, which, overall wasn't bad being as we lived in Rancho Bernardo at the time. However, this time, having moved to Santee, I chose El Cajon. This is for the cafeteria food. Breakfast ... Ugh not good at all. A total waste of my money I took like 3 bites of my breakfast sandwich & threw it in the trash. I was there for jury duty so no other options..
