Best bbq I have had thus far in cali. They had great service always checking in. Happy hour was good and filling. Their brisket is to die for.Kid-friendliness: Daughter was able to run around with other kids loved it.
This is a barbecue joint and while I rate it excellent it isn't a high-end restaurant, but they had the best barbecue I've ever tasted. It's great to set outside and on weekends they have entertainment. Their pork ribs are absolutely outstanding. I also love their brisket and tri tip and their smoked links. I guess I love their food. Service is always very good and very friendly. Oh, forgot to mention their fries they are really good too.

I haven't had a bad meal at Grand Ole BBQ. The brisket falls apart on your plate, pulled pork and tri tip is excellent, sides are addicting and the staff is always cool. The ambience on a nice day on the back patio with live music makes this one of East County's not so hidden gems.
