“They have reopened this location and business is booming! I love the corn dogs here. They use lots of batter, so they can be a little more filling than you might guess. The shoestring fries are good. A regular side of fries could probably feed two, so the 4 dog + regular side combo could feed a couple of people. The lemonade is as good as ever, even though it is a little pricey. The lime flavor tastes like candy and not very fruit-like, but that’s not a bad thing. My favorite is the grapefruit flavor; try it if you like a more sour edge to your lemonade. Lots of condiments and napkins in easy reach, which is a plus. Don’t forget to use their app to get reward points, by the way.“
“I was in the drive-thru last Saturday at about 915pm when my fuel line decided the pressure was too much and shot off the hardline and still connected to the pump, I got to the window explained the situation and they swiped my card and I went around the corner. Within 5minutes the stores owner was on the ground with his phones flashlight looking for the leak. He stayed out there and offered help and tools the entire time I was under my truck. If I ever eat at a wienerschnitzel this will be the only one. He even asked me if I wanted to eat so my food didn't get cold and another drink. This man and his establishment are top notch the employees even ran my food out and asked how things were going. If I recall the owners name is Eric, so a heartfelt thankyou you really turned my night around“
“The other day we went and tried this place in Santee/Lakeside. I had seen a show on the Food Channel, and that talked about deep-dish pizza. Before sitting down, we ordered our pizza. We got in around 5 pm on a Wednesday. Ordered a large 3" thick deep dish, with Pepperoni, Sausage, and Mushroom, before taking a seat. Looks like a new place. They said it would be a little longer because it was a deep dish. We were the only ones there, but several people walked in to pick up their pizza. We had a salad, then the pizza arrived. OMG, that sauce was different than anything we've ever tasted. Usually, Italian sauce has a sour finish. But this one was like thick sweet tomatos, the best sauce we ever had. We each had two slices. Took the 4 pieces home for the next day's lunch. The box was heavy. They also have thin and medium crusts. This is now a favorite of ours. I've only tried one other deep dish place in Pacific Beach years ago. I don't remember theirs being this good. A must try, with friends. I wish I had remembered to take pictures.“

“After a satisfying week of helping people with their Medicare, Saturday was a day of errands. We had a late lunch at Five Guys. It had been several years since we've been here. The bacon cheeseburger was delicious. I like all of the options they offer to put on the burger, but I would prefer red onion over the current white onion. This dining room area is relatively smaller in comparison, but the neighborhood restaurant has enough space to accommodate several families and beer buddy groups. There are also common area patio tables within the Santee Trolley Square food court area by the MTS station. Ample parking spaces too.Received a friendly greeting as I walked in. Checked out their chalkboard menu as well as the giant printed wall menu. Noticed some craft beers on tap.Took me a moment to decide on my to-go order because of the menu choices and options. Wifey got a Sand Dune and our Mini-Meez got their cheeseburger kids meals. This time I tried their Korean bbq steak sandwich. This craveable snack is hefty and could be a messy knife-and-fork meal for some to share. The bread held up well against the cheesy melty peppers and onions in the to-go box. Tender steak bites were tasty. For whatever reason my buds tasted more sweet teriyaki flavors over savory bulgogi vibes. Mini-me 2.0 wanted to check out the Bacon Cheese Fries. It's a good portion. “I eat here every week after church, because it’s delicious! But my only complaints are that the mall atmosphere isn’t that great and that they take quite some time to give you yours order. I understand that since they have to cook them right when ordered, but when you’re ordering just a single corn dog, you get quite impatient if you wait for 10 minutes just for a single item. I would love to give this place 5 stars because the food is toooooooo good, but they should look into having the place somewhere else that isn’t the mall, just so at least if we have to wait for the order, it’s in a much peaceful and nice spot“
