Excellent service: we were seated within minutes of arriving, great breakfast / lunch menu, our food was quickly brought to our table, it was very tasty, and piping hot; the atmosphere was adequate but noisy which is to be expected on a Sunday lunchtime!!!

Went for lunch. Had a chili burger and potato salad. Burger was outstanding and the chili,cheese and onions on top were fantastic. Potato salad was over the top good. Coworkers got fries with their sandwiches, so I snagged a couple and they were fantastic. Service was great, very attentive and friendly. Definitely going again!!

Came in on a busy Sunday morning. We had put our name down and they let us know it will be 15-20 minutes wait. After 30 minutes of waiting and noticing people who came in after us were getting seated, we went in and asked for the status and they said they called us, even though we had been standing outside the door the whole time. It is very small and crammed in the restaurant. Both of our coffee cups had lipstick on the lip of the cup, but the waitress changed it out for us right away. The food was good and the waitress was working hard and she was nice, but if it wasn't for her, we would've left before ordering food.

Best Breakfast & Lunch Café I've seen in a long time. I had the burger, with coleslaw, my girlfriend had the hot turkey sandwich. The Burger... I would stake my reputation (as a former broiler chef and food reviewer) on the fact that the meat was of the highest quality. The coleslaw was so good, my girlfriend tried it, and immediately asked if they had some to go. After wolfing down my meal, I looked with hope at my girlfriend, and yes, she was full, (she's tiny) but had left me plenty! I tried her turkey, gravy, and mashed potatoes, and quickly got my appetite back, and ate it all... The turkey, was moist & tasty, the gravy, was luscious, and Perfectly seasoned. The mashed potatoes were homemade, like everything else. It was all so good, I'm still feeling a bit emotional. Seriously- it is like homemade. -They close at 2:30pm, Go!

I came out her for a memorial for one of my Shipmates and it was raining and I just needed to find a friendly place to eat to take my mind off things. I came across this place because I’m staying around the corner with one of my friends. When I got there I was instantly greeted. I was wondering why she didn’t seat me at the counter alone. She sat me next to groups of people and I’m so grateful she did cuz they were sharing stories and I don’t even think they all knew each other but the atmosphere was just what I needed! The food was a lot haha but great tasting especially the cinnamon roll and coffee. The waitress kept checkin on me and it meant more to me when her face lit up when I told her everything tasted amazing! Thank you so much! I took my pancakes to my friend and her and her son loved them! Guess they had never been haha. Kinda hidden gem but I’m so glad I found it
Janet’s are great-have breakfast in Alpine-those muffins! Have lunch with a friend sometimes at Santee and on Greenfield-meet friends there. Food is delicious and the service makes you feel like you are part of a loving family. Don’t miss the opportunity to eat in this marvelous set of restaurants.

This place is wonderful. Found on a whim coming back from a hike early in the morning. Dawnna was a lovely server and always was around to refill our coffees. Really nice sized portions for the price. Never seen a place offer pancakes as the toast option before for a plate. Patio is dog friendly. Will come back :)
