Amazing homemade papusas and very filling. Tried all kinds of papusas here and everything is amazing. Their tamales are amazing too. The cortido and sauces always comes with the papusas which is nice because some places make you pay extra or don't give any at all. This place is one of the best pupuserias I've been too. You won't be disappointed.

Omgooooodness this place is super delicious, I am pregnant and when one is pregnant it is very difficult to find the flavor of food and my little girl loved the pupusa and tamales that come in banana leaves! The revolted pupusas super delicious! Many thanks to the talented cooks! Highly recommend this place if you are craving pupusa!

Tasty and delicious. The bean, cheese, and pork papusa just hit the spot. Along with the cabbage and salsa just make the perfect meal. Also highly recommend the jalapeño and cheese papusa. So good!! This small but cute place makes food that hits the spot.

Excellent pupusas and wide variety to choose from. Best place I have had pupusas in San Diego. Yummy

Every couple months when we feel like eating pupusas we go here. As time has passed the the people that run the place have gotten more rude and the prices have increased ridiculously. For those prices the pupusas better taste like I'm in freakin El Salvador! Even though they were good today they are not consistent with it. I usually always buy a large order of pupusas and they are really stingy with the curtido. Even if I give them back the sauce they give with it they still charge you drastically for the curtido. I didn't buy that many today but asked for more curtido and they charged me $2.15 for a very small container. I also bought plátanos which are now being cut and served differently which made them taste different. Buying the empanadas is also a risk cause the last two times they have not been good. With the not knowing if you are going to get good food that day, with the terrible customer service and the increasingly high prices I will not be returning. Unless you are willing to gamble with the taste of your food and don't care about terrible customer service or super high prices I Do Not recommend this place. Find another place to go. Rude people! Bad Service! Overpriced!

This place use to be really reasonable when it came to prices and the food was good, now everything is double the price not worth it tbh.

It was very expensive. Fried plantains with a tiny cup of lechera was over 10 dollars. Food was fine- but for almost 30 dollars- I would rather go elsewhere. :-(.

Eat food ever, I always come here when I'm in San Diego I feeling like eating topical Salvadorian food... I really like the platillo típico.

The sopa de rez only had ONE PIECE OF MEAT ? for a minute I thought It was vegetable soup . It has a different taste as well ,They also charged for the tortillas , I'm assuming owners have changed ? Previous owner never charged for tortillas , I'm not sure if I will be coming back , but will def buy from previous owners at the farmers market .

I was basic AF and got the bean and cheese and a pepperoni pupusa they were really very good! The salsa they serve with them is super good and has a flavorful spicy kick to it.... I gave 4 stars because the customer service was not that great....and the price was a little up there...I paid $12 for 2 pupusas and a medium drink But I dont have anything to compare it to so idk if that's average for pupusas? Nonetheless they were good!

NOT VEGAN!! THANKS ALOT FOR GETTING ME SICK. We even took it back to let them know. THERE WAS CHEESE IN THE Pupusa. . Lasy, rude and uncaring about the health and safety of others. Fail.

Was really craving some pupusas so we decided to try this place out and it was AMAZING! We had Pupusas de Chicharron, revueltas, frijol con queso, and jalapeño con queso and they were all perfect. Especially with the curtido and the salsa (they give very generous portions of these) we also had to try the tamales and they were also delicious. We will definitely be comming back and telling our friends and family about this place.

Never disappointed here. I try different pupilas every time I come. I have a hearty appetite so like 2.5 of them are pretty filling. They're reasonably priced and they're alllllll so yummy.
