I drove all the way from Tempe Az For harnessed fries. I was worth the wait. I retired two years ago and finally made it back. My go to place is the Original Burrito Place in Awathika.

We come to Sombrero, especially for their delicious bacon and cheese breakfast burrito. Do we have it for breakfast? Heck, no! This is a BIG burrito! It's a dinner burrito for us, and it's hard to finish. To quote from a very old cigarette ad: "it's so round, so good, so fully packed." Sombrero has the best-ever green salsa. We travel a lot, so we have a chance to sample from lots of places. We have never received anything that seemed pre-cooked. This time, our burrito came so hot that we needed napkins around them. We eat-in so that we can fill their little cups all the way up with green slsa and also get some of their sliced pickled jalapeños to add to the already delicious burrito. It's always clean. The employees are friendly and seem happy to take our order.

my wife and I love this particular location. the dining area is spacious, the employees work hard, and it's clean. we are probably considered regulars so we have chill conversations with some employees. they usually know what we'll get as well.
