Was at the Casino on a Saturday afternoon and decided to try the new Suerte Cantina! The inside is so fresh and filled with colorful Latino art and decor. They also offer patio seating as well as little stands for your coat or bags! Off the bat, our server Nico did an excellent job at recommending the best food picks and drinks. Came here to Sycuan for a quick trip and saw they replaced Elicit with Suerte. Overall, I think it was a good decision. First, I think it's good that they have a Mexican option now at Sycuan as it helps "diversify" the cuisines a bit more than the past. And Second, the ambiance was definitely a fun, cozy atmosphere and was a welcome addition for sure. Service was pretty good! Friendly and quick too. Listen ... this place has sooo much potential they NEED TO ADD BAND AND BACHATA NIGHTS !!! It will be OFF THE HOOK. Think about it a place to stay, drinks and bachata nights omg. The drinks are so creative and embrace the Hispanic culture. Apparently it's only been open 4 months but it is my new fave at Sycuan Casino!
