came here to have lunch with my husband the service was not so bad welcoming nice but the food 0/5 the tacos were not good at all the tortillas were from weeks ago cold the guac was gone bad and trust me I know my family owns a Mexican food restaurant so I know my Mexican food the birria consomé was basically tomato sauce consistency was bad the salsas were plain water with someSalt the quesa birria super sloppy couldn’t even pick up the tacos the salsa Fresca on the taco was not Fresca at all the carne asada is precooked from days ago and cold to be honest and taking the fact the we found 2 hairs in the carne asada tacos the adobada aswell the adobada seemed like it was chorizo and no flavor everything was bad overall my husband is born in raised in Michoacán and I was born here but raised in Mexico so we know our Mexican food but this is honestly the worst! Place I’ve been do not recommend at all!!!

I've been coming here for over 20 years. The owner is amazing and treats everyone like family. He is nearly always there and greets everyone with the biggest smile.They have THEE BEST salsa! It's homemade and has a perfect somewhat chunky texture. Because of the chunkiness it stays put and doesn't just pour through your burrito. Their salsa really is what sets them apart from some other taco shop.We all have our special places for certain Mexican food. This is my breakfast burrito place. I cannot (and would not) get a breakfast burrito anywhere else. I also love their carne asada and plain quesadillas. It's got a little crunch to the outside so it's not this limp tortilla with greasy cheese like so many places tend to serve. Another cool thing is they give you a choice between American and Mexican guacamole. I don't know another taco shop that gives the customer that option.They just really care about making the customer happy and making great food.Parking: Tons of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Handicapped spots are right in front of the restaurant and they have large front doors that are often open making it very easy to enter.
This place is hidden gem!!! The food is amazing. Good chilaquiles and beans are HARD to find nowadays, and these are IT. The place itself is super clean and their staff is very nice. Service was super fast too and there are a lot of sitting options to hang around!

Not related to the chain of San Diego Cotixan taco shops. I was looking for a quick dinner before watching a high school football game at El Cajon Valley High School. This place was close, and the menu looked appetizing. Picked up a California Burrito and Enchiladas. Both were good. I'd come back if we ever end up playing here again. - The restaurant was clean.
I'm from Los Angeles, and every time I'm in town, this is my spot!!!!. Me and the employees watched El Classico here. Cool dudes. And I get the Surf and Turf burrito. Shrimp, steak, fries, Chipotle, guacamole, and cheese . The ambiance is a cool, open concept.

Came here yesterday and got some street tacos bc a lot of places were closed due to the storm. Tacos were amazing so I decided to come back again today and try the roja birria tacos and they're amazing as well. Owner is very nice and respectful. Idk if it's the area or that this place is still new but ITS WORTH IT. My new taco shop spot for sure.
