Delicious BBQ. Friendly staff. Their bbq beef sandwich is a classic. Their brisket is delicious. Highly recommend this place. Brisket is Thursday to Saturday. Give it a try. I'll be coming back regularly.

It has been in Fletcher Hills forever and is just as outstanding as the first time. The only thing that has changed, is the prices. The bean soup is like Mom made it, always a must for me. If you like beef stew, get there early on Fridays, as it always sells out.

We like this place. Meats are great, sides are great. Prices are very reasonable and portions are on point. Service was very good and they were really patient with us. Kept a smile on their faces and politely answered questions about the menu. Overall a gem in Fletcher Hills.

As always, quite good. Except for one big family that had their whole family in line and taking up half the line for some time and causing at least one other customer to give up and leave.

Best bbq beef sandwich around. Everything here is good. Come here at least once a week. I've been eating BBQ Pit since I was kid(30+ years). Fast friendly service. Old school staple in the community.

The line was insane at the Wrangler because of the announcement they will be closing this weekend. So like a couple of dummies we came here to get our BBQ fix. What a disappointment. Thin sliced ham piled low! Boo hiss. Nothing like the Wrangler with thick juicy, smokey piled high sandwiches. So so fries, decent cole slaw. Do not despair! The BBQ Pit in National City is amazing. Even better is the one in North County.

Just terrible. We ended up throwing our order away. Meat is tough and dry with little flavor and the sides don't seem fresh. This place is a piece of history but not a great place to eat.

The pork ribs were so soft and tender. Not Smokey or too much rub. The beans were a bit too sweet. The slaw was ok. But I still give it 5 stars because the food is great and the employees are outstanding
