I LOVE this place. Their Birria tacos are the best in San Diego and I’ve had my fair share of Mexican food. As an SD native, whenever people come to visit I tell them to go here because it’s literally the best. Please don’t ever leave the neighborhood!!

I would have to say this is my go to in El Cajon. Good clean place, great prices and the food is great. The service is always on point! The best part is the salsa bar and the free hot carrots you can't go wrong it's not a rip and crappy food it's great food for a decent price.

Great food at a reasonable price. Count on my business again. The pickled onions were a little too vinegar-y, and not salty or spicy enough, but everything else was great. My wife had the Gansito milkshake (YES THEY HAVE MILKSHAKES). She highly recommends it. The shake was thick, creamy, and tasted exactly like un Gansito. For $1.99 a full-sized taco, I am BLOWN away. Honestly, damn good tacos, too. I had the buche (neck meat), the carne asada, and the fish. My wife had the fish, the pollo asado, and the carnitas. All amazing. The spicy salsa verde was our favorite of the salsas available at their salsa bar.The carne asada was a highlight among all these good things. It tasted fresh and homemade. It has got to be some of the best carne asada in El Cajon. Authentic and beefy. You HAVE GOT to come here, but stay away when I'm there. I need more of this food for me.

Jesus Christ, pick any other option. This was hands down the soggiest, most bland tacos I've had in my life. The service wasn't too slow and the lady seemed friendly as anyone could be, but that food is some serious garbage. What else, the ambiance? Look, just do yourself a favor and don't slow down.

Solid experience for a burrito shop. Grande burrito was worth it. One of the best salsa bars I've seen and people working there were really nice. Will be back.

Had a grilled chicken burrito and a brownie shake 10/10. The salsa was flavorful and spicy!
