Exactly what you expect from a del Taco. Quick service and consistent food. Not remarkable, but better than other franchise brands.Be realistic. You don't go to Del Taco for table service and upscale dining. We all go for an inexpensive bag of passable food to fill bellies on a budget, quickly.Expect that and you won't be disappointed.

Food was good. The service was terrible. Some drive-thru cashier had an attitude because he can’t take feedback. You can’t even hear him on the speaker and if you ask him to repeat your order to make sure he got it right he talks back to you. Then he gets uppity when you ask him for napkins. Watch out though because he might stuff the napkins in your bag n break your taco shells. This guy says he’s a manager when asked to see the manager and refused to give the company’s number or his name and just tells you to leave instead trying to fix the situation. Supposedly his name is Joseph, but he could have been lying about that.

Since I haven’t been to a Del Taco in over 20 years, I decided to try it again. The online menu looked very tasty. I ordered a fish taco, grilled chicken Carbon with guacamole, carve asada taco El carbon and a mango, pineapple popper lemonade. The fish taco was very good, warm and tasty. The drink was excellent, wish there was a larger size. The chicken and carne asada tacos were not carbon cooked even thought the receipt said they were. I was very disappointed, but I’ll probably try one more time for those carbon cooked tacos. Might be a chance that they were carbon cooked (over coals), if they were, they were no different than the fish taco that wasn’t cooked over the coals. If I ever go back I’ll try a crunchy taco also. I didn’t mention that these were very small tacos, more like a street taco size and they are wrapped in tin foil that normally softens the taco shells, which I am not a fan of.

The staff are quick and polite. The food was freshly cooked and hot. Many value items on the menu if you're not looking to spend an arm and a leg like at other fast food restaurants.

I get that it's a fast food place, however if I order 4 combos why do they ALWAYS put everything together in 1 or 2 bags. I hate having too go digging through a bag specially if I have a special order item. This happens here more often than not. SEPARATE BAGS FOR SEPARATE COMBOS.
