Poor service--inattentive, slow, lack of customer service and atmosphere. Despite visiting more than once, there is no greeting upon entry to restaurant; had to search well into restaurant just to be greeted. A wait of 30-minutes or more at table to have drink order taken. Wait for food over an hour. Staff annoyed if questioned about their service; they blame customers for their poor service. Considering the average cost per person is $50 and the customer cooks their own food at the table, not communicating with customers and failing to serve a basic glass of water within 20 minutes is unacceptable. Even with a lack of staff, guests should be greeted and welcomed to substitute for slower service. They are not doing guests a favor, they visit for a paid service.

The place is clean, and we were seated and attended to quickly. The food is okay but we had a bad experience where a friend (who is vegan and was part of the party only as company) was rudely asked to pay full price or leave the restaurant immediately even though she was not eating.

I was told to pay a full price to sit on the table or to leave.Let me explain, my friends drove down from san diego for a show and decided to grab food before heading back. Im a vegeterian and asked if they had any vegetarian options to which they said no, so i asked for a water and kept my friends company. The waiter later returned and said "the manager said you still had to pay the regular price per person or i had to leave" I asked i have to pay a full price per person to sit here? And she said yes. So I stood up and left. Keep in mind that there were already 8 people on the table and i was the 9th with a chair add on IN FULL OFFICER UNIFORM. That is absolutely absurd. It was my first time stepping foot in this restaurant, I have been a Valley girl all my life and i had not even heard of it. To the owner: you are money hungry and pathetic.

We were seated pretty fast, but we were sitting their waiting for someone to take our drink order for about 15 minutes. The manager, I believe, took our order and I said "we're ready to order" and I guess she got really pissed and was really rude. All the other servers, however, were very kind and knew how to give good service. I don't recommend going if that manager lady is working bc she is very rude.

I love this place, I've always said that. The soju is very good. We have been twice, and this second time; The waitresses (they seemed new) were late and forgot your orders. There are no more ice cream macarons :( now they have frozen orange peel snows and it tastes horrible.

I've been here several times, for birthdays and to treat my family and friends and am really disappointed by their lack of service today. Regular weekday customers are the lifeblood of the service industry, not here though. They turned us away from ordering food because even though they close at 10 they only take food orders until 9, we weren't interested in KBBQ, just wanted to order some sushi to go, we walked in at 9 and they informed us they wouldn't take our order...No where else have I been to a place that closes when the staff leaves. Closing time is when the customers leave.I'm sorry but if you refuse to serve customers then you won't have any, my family will no longer be dining here.

First time trying Korena BBQ, and This place was amazing! We had two young lady's as our servers and they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! The food was amazing. Teriyaki beef was our favorite with the ramen noodles. Would totally recommend this place again and again!! Priced decently too 26-27$ a person. The ambiance was nice, they had big booths for families to sit in and cook together.

Drove about an hour to come try this place out since we don't have anything like this in town. There are 3 levels ranging from $27-35 and each level comes with different meats. We did the standard which had a good selection but if you want seafood you'll have to pay a bit more. Service was AMAZING our waitress was so attentive and made sure we always had what we needed. Meats were pretty good as well as the sides, I've just had better in bigger cities but place was still pretty good! We also came on a weekend and it wasn't busy and we were seated right away which was great.

Decided to eat from sushi menu that is combined with this Korean bbq joint, our waitress was nice but the food was less than adequate. My first red flag should've been the room temperature miso soup, but I continued my meal and when we received our appetizer I bit into a frozen chicken gyoza, we expressed our concern with the waitress and she brought back the same plate reheated, minus the one I spit out. We decided not to eat the appetizer and they were kind enough to take it off the bill. Disappointed to know this place can't heat frozen food correctly, who knows what else goes on in that kitchen, I wouldn't recommend eating here, there are plenty of better options nearby.

This is my friends and i favorite place to go eat on special occasions since it’s a little pricey but it’s a lot of food! The meat, tteokbokki, fried gyoza and ramens are so good. The workers are so nice also.

There was a bug in our food and we showed a Waitress who didn't offer a discount, we ended up paying for it which is fine but the offer would've been nice. I wonder if they thought we put it in our food to dine for free. Haven't gone back
