Oh man! The barboca is excellent!!! My hubby ordered it and the consommé it can with so so so so so good that my hubby asked all of us at the table to try it- and we did- and we all loved it and wished we ordered it. 20 out of 10!! I ordered the carne asada fajitas and they were excellent too!

Location is GREAT, right off the freeway. The chips and salsa were definitely above average. Perfect amount of heat. The 3 shredded beef taco plate was perfect for me... Tacos were on the smaller side, the rice was excellent, and the beans were good as well. The huevos ranchero wasn't great, lacking in flavor. Asked for additional chips and salsa twice, and unfortunately, they never made it to our table (definitely felt like we were being forgotten). My Dads plate came out 10 mins after my mom and I received ours (not to mention, the server asked him twice what he ordered after our food was placed)... Luckily, he is patient. Staff are nice, just the folow through is not there... Will I try them again... Yes. I usually give 2nd chances.

Whenever I come down here for work I make sure to drop by for some great food and service. As soon as you walk in you're greeted and seated and given some really good chips and salsa. Try the Chile Colorado or the Barbacoa! You will not be disappointed. Also the prices are very reasonable.

I've got to say, I don't know that I have ever given a place three stars across the board. I had eaten here months before, and didn't have a strong recollection of it. Perhaps this is why. They were quick to bring out chips and salsa. The salsa was spicy but lacked flavor, and the chips, though seemingly made in-house, were made many, many hours before my arrival. The pork in my chili verde was fork tender, but again, had no real flavor. It was a perfect match for the blah beans and rice. The margarita, on the other hand, was mostly sweet margarita mix. When I asked for the check with food still on my plate, the server didn't even ask if I wanted a to-go container. Perhaps she got the sense that I would have said no.This is why I started writing these reviews many years ago. So I could look at it at some future point to see if a place was worth revisiting. I have to say that I don't know that I'll be back.

This is a Great place to dine-in that's relaxing and enjoyable without any other customers getting out of hand. This is a place of Respect where people are considerate of others, the staff/employees, and for the restaurant itself. If you're looking for a Great place to dine-in and get away from a noisy area this is the place that welcome's any & everyone with Respect, Good Food, Great Service, and some TV's showing some good ol' Sports, and or ESPN.Thanks La Fonda for the Good Food and Hospitality!Vegetarian options: Every Dish right underneath the displayed title is the specified food ingredients, and if you still have a hard time understanding it, it's not rocket science, it's food and as long as you let the staff know that you don't eat meat you won't have a problem. Remember that they are just as human as you & me they won't know till you let them know. As far as I remember I didn't see a vegetarian section or maybe they did have it and I didn't pay any attention to it. .Parking: It's one big property lot in front of the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Yes ?Wheelchair accessibility: Yes ?

We had dinner at this restaurant. The food with the price was really good for East coast folks like us, our waitress was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is nice. The service is a bit slow but maybe they were understaffed and at that time more people coming in.Overall we happy and hopefully next time we’re in the area, we’ll definitely eat here again.
