RObertos is great but this location is CLOSED PERMANENTLY so maps needs to update this.

Obviously this is a popular local joint, everyone who comes in always knows someone else who is already there. Great service, and fabulous Mexican food. Clean and neat, not too loud, OK for kids & families.

Sobe's a little Mexican restaurant, is located in the SE corner of a small strip mall. Staff is very nice, food is just fine.

Probably the best "sit down" Mexican food restaurant in the Imperial Valley. Consistently good tasting entrees with attentive service. Keep up the good work, Sobe!

Good food

This restaurant is owned and the chef is the prior cook at Camacho's, the oldest restaurant in Imperial County. The menu is essentially the same as Camacho's, but served in a newer facility a little more upscale. There is a separate room for large groups

We love the tacos and tostadas here. Service is good and place is clean. The refried beans topped with jack cheese as a dip with corn tortilla chips are good. But the beef and bean tostadas are my favorite.

We Lunched here. Restaurant was busy with both locals and Americans. The staff are super friendly and helpful. But service is not their strong point. Menu and drinks come out quickly, food can take a bit of time. With that said, the food was superior. Guacamole was super fresh, the chips were warm, salsa had the perfect amount of heat. Our server helped educate us on a few of the menu items and even brought out a quesadilla to try. The pastry on it was so flaky. Our food was a total delight, plentiful and authentic I would return again and again

This place has decent food. The carne asada tacos are wonderful. Just a little hole in the wall place but worth a visit.

The Chile Relleno was very good...a nice light batter, some spice, and a light sauce. My side salad was fine, nothing special. My husband ate matchaca con verdura (shredded meat with vegetables and rice) and thought it was OK, not special. We came with family, who as locals chose Sobe’s as an authentic place.

The chips and salsa that started off the meal were really good. I ordered the Dinner Combo – 1 shredded beef taco, 1 bean tostada and 1 cheese enchilada with some great beans…and rice. The taco shell was very crisp..and filled with lots of meat, lettuce…and lots of shredded cheese on top. I used some of the salsa from the chips I was served before my meal arrived on my taco. Perfect! The bean toastada was also a very crisp tortilla covered with refried beans and lettuce. The enchilada was stuffed with cheese…and covered in a sauce that had a kick to it. It just had that Mexico taste…and I love that taste.
