Very nice restaurant! Straightforward, no frills, yet everything is just right. Love the atmosphere!

Stopped by for some breakfast. The restaurant looked great, had high reviews and wasn’t busy. Took about 15 minutes to get a menu, another 10 to order/get water and ultimately about an hour to decide we’re walking out. We noticed a handful of people there who had been waiting longer than us and also had no food. We were on a schedule to get back to San Diego and the 1 hour wait with no interaction with the server after ordering solidified our decision. I notified our waitress who gave us attitude afterwards and said our food was ready but at this point it was too ridiculous and we had to leave. 2 stars are based on my belief in small businesses. I’m sure it would’ve been great but the service was not.

Very nice and friendly waitress and delicious food. But cold coffee and wait time for food was bad.

Great Choice and Probably Among Best In Town. Ambiance: Great look with cozy atmosphere. Location: If you're passing through it's a little out of the way but well worth the traveling into town for a drink and meal. Service: Excellent Cassandra was quick, polite and friendly with great suggestions. Food: Ordered a salad and everything was fresh and good size. Also had the soup and a steak both were awesome. The steak was cooked perfectly and well seasoned but the soup was fantastic. Cleanliness: Everything was clean and freshly wiped down. The bathrooms were equally clean - no complaints. PS: A local law enforcement officer suggested it to us when giving my wife a warning, and dang glad he did. Really nice and professional police force.

Went at lunch nreak, 1pm. Service was slow to get. Ordered beverage, water and two appetizers. Got beverage, no water. Had to ask for waters again. Took 40mins to receive entree then appetizers came. I thought appetizers were before entrees? Restaurant did not seem busy but it had a few tables sat. It was my first time going. I would not go on my lunch break again. Food was good, would go back for dinner.

We stopped in El Centro, the county seat of Imperial County California, on our way to Mexico from Phoenix. We needed to eat lunch and refuel. The Courtroom is a great small place with good sandwiches and salads. Hit the spot for our road trip! We had a burger and the BALT sandwich. Both were prepared beautifully and they accepted a couple special requests on both orders.

Stopped here today on our way home from California. What a friendly cute cafe with everything we were looking for. We had the chicken fried steak breakfast with biscuits and gravy. It was really good! Son had the courtroom omelette and there was nothing left on his plate! Friendly server and we were in and out in no time. The only thing was it took a long time to get breakfast potatoes. But otherwise, we will stop again when we are on a trip.

20 minutes and we had our drinks, ordered but they were out of pulled pork so while the kid was deciding what she wanted the waitress left. 10 minutes later we left. Been here before and the food is good but come on man, let me spend my money here.

We had a terrific waitress. We could tell she was relatively new but we understood. We have all been. When it came time to pay our bill, she gave us individual checks, which was great. There was a little confusion, so the bartender came over to help. She was with out a doubt very rude. She talked down to us and to our waitress. This was totally uncalled for. I was embarrassed for the waitress. If she is this was with everyone, she is in the wrong business. Our food was awesome and so was our waitress.

We wanted to try something different. We sat at the bar. We were greeted upon sitting. We arrived at noon which was an accident but they weren't super busy when we got there. They have a good draft beer selection. There were 2 menus next to us that we used. Good selection of choices.I had the chicken ceasar sandwich with a salad as my side. Good looking plate. The sandwich was very good. Chicken was not as tender as I would have liked but goodHusband had the chicken pot pie. The reason for the 3 stars. The presentation was horrible. My 1st thought with the tin foil was someone didnt want to have to really wash dishes. I asked the bartender she stated it's because of take out orders. I would probably made a few without tin foil. I for do not like tin foil near my food. The pot pie was room temperature very disappointing. Bartender took it back to be heated. Not sure how they heated it in the tin foil but it did come out piping hot. My husband thought it was good. The crust looked homemade.
