I decided to stop and order a teriyaki bowl, I have to say it was very tasty. I should have taken a picture to show you; it was enough food for two people and it was on the lunch menu. The food was fresh and the price was good I will definitely go back. This restaurant is hidden in the back by Safeway.

First time trying out this sushi place. First off, the owners take pride in making the best food here. Very kind and knowledgeable. I will definitely be coming back with my family here. Highly recommend.

Kochi is a regular for us! We've tried other local sushi places and we're pleasantly surprised to learn the best was within walking distance of home. The servings are freshly prepared and generous. The rolls are original, attractive and delicious. We're known for our Friday night dinners there with friends, so our "usual" table us almost always prepared for us with our standard libations and sautéed garlic edamame (yum!). They know the kids "usual order" and always get them in right away to keep the "hangrey" at bay. While the current staff is working hard to maintain consistency, we sincerely miss Coco. Her charm and ability made Kochi a "family" - her departure was truly a loss and they should consider trying to get her back. Rating 4/5 bc of the loss of Coco. Bring her back and I'll change the rating. ‍

9/4/23 Happy Labor Day Monday!!! It was an Uber lazy day for us and while we should have bbq'ed and hung poolside...but we decided to go support local businesses. We got here at 5:15pm and they only had one other table seated. We started with some waters, ordered some apps to start. Apps: Spicy edamame served warmed. Yum. Beef tataki - kids fav Salmon carpaccio - adult favs (melts in your mouth good) Ordered 4 rolls and 2 bento boxes and this was the order it came in despite ordering it all together: Bob Roll Four seasons roll 1 bento box (tonkatsu and salmon Katsu) 1 bento box (tonkatsu and tempura) Oceans trio roll (soy wrapper) Long wait...for our last roll...(15-20mins) ...warriors roll Apology for the serious wait. We were practically done eating and 3 out of 4 glasses of water was empty before the last roll came out. We never got a refill or extra napkins or checked on during our meal. The food was good and fish was fresh but service needs massive help. By 6pm, there were other tables and all waiting to be serviced. One sushi chef. One person waiting tables, taking orders and managing the restaurant. I believe there was 1 maybe 2 in the back frying things. It felt like there was only 3 people there. A man walked up and asked where his food was. A woman received a 10% discount for something from the establishment before paying. We were offered nothing. Lots of Togo orders. Located in a shopping center with ample parking. Has indoor and outdoor table. They simply just need more help servicing. Maybe it was an off day and it being a holiday probably gave them a rush they weren't expecting. Hoping the next time we come back, service will be better.

Lolo ..

New management has changed what used to be an awesome sushi bar. Coco is no longer working here which is VERY sad because she made it fun. She not only was a great server, but she had personality plus! The male server working there now seems like he is bored and had minimal interaction with us. On our last visit the rolls were smaller and seemed to have far less proteins in them. We were happy that the garlic edamame is still on the menu and exactly the same as before the management change. Sadly the edamame isn't enough for us to keep coming back.

We have dined in, take out and got delivery multiple times from Kochi. Every time we eat here we are never disappointed! The food is delicious and the fish always is fresh, the service is fast and everyone is so nice! Definitely recommend this place! And it is definitely the best sushi place in the area. SO GOOD!

Been coming here lately because kiddo goes to math tutoring close by. Love the snow california rolls - which seems basic and I sleep on Cali rolls often - but these are nice and the perfect snack. Gotten a couple salmon rolls that I can't remember the name of and I need to get that grilled hamachi again. Service is nice but we tend to come in during the weekday around 3 and the servers looks so sleepy, haha. Sorry, but thank you for giving us a place to get our snick snack on!

Small little place with OUTSTANDING sushi. Get the dragon roll, delicious . Very fresh. Also the waitress there always helps us ordering new and different rolls, all of them have been yummy.

The good is good, but twice now we have been given rolls we didn’t order. The first time I went back, they argued that it was what we ordered. I didn’t have the menu in front of me and just took what we got. Tasted good, so fine.Tonight we ordered 4 rolls. One was the Dragon roll. On the menu it claims to have deep fried shrimp and spicy tuna, and does not state avocado. The roll we received was deep fried shrimp and imitation crab and had avocado. I didn’t want to drive back so just ate it. It was fine, just not what I paid for. I specifically chose a roll that did not have crab because I don’t love the imitation garbage. It’s a cheap filler and that is annoying when you pay $17 for a roll.Overall, we will return. It’s not a terrible option for living in the neighborhood, but I will definitely check our orders before leaving in the future so I can be sure we receive what we pay for.
