the place was cozy, homely, for me the food seemed ordinary and not the most delicious, toasts that should have been sweet were salty, but the second course for another person turned out to be very tasty, according to him, BUT, there was someone else's lipstick on the tea cup, and so the waitress didn't seem friendly.
I eat here once a week. I like the food, the service. One thing stands out here are the soups. If you like soup, the soups here are delicious. I discovered this by accident. They offer soup with sandwiches, decided to try it recently and was surprised at how tasty it was. Get the soup. The food here is good. Standard breakfast and lunch. Nothing fancy. But it's good. And they keep your mug filled. And for me, I like the feel of the place. Friendly.

Homey little restaurant with a good selection of breakfast dishes. I had the eggs benedict Florentine with hash browns. The eggs benedict were excellent while the hash browns were mushy and overcooked inside, hence the 4-stars instead of 5. Service was good but there were only us and one other table at the time so it's hard to extrapolate. Overall, the food was very good given the quaintness of the establishment.
