Little hole in the wall, mom and pop place with tasty Tianjin style cuisine and huge portions. The owners are very friendly. Food took a while but can't complain considering it's a small joint with a large menu. We got the shrimp and pork buns, deep fried eggplant stuffed with shrimp and pork stuffed bitter gourd. The buns took the longest but were a different take on regular bao. Dough wasn't too thick and filling was sufficient, yummy and juicy! I usually don't love eggplant but my husband does so we got that and I was pleasantly surprised. This is one occasion where I really enjoyed it. The eggplant wasn't mushy and the batter is like tempura batter. The sauce is like a sweet and sour sauce. Very appetizing. The bitter gourd was great too. Not too bitter and the soupy sauce that came with it was delicious. We have plenty of leftovers and will not hesitate to eat here again.

This place has gone down... its gross. If you go in back and see how dirty it is you would never eat here. Dirty and disgusting. Additionally there is No parking for this place.

It's like your home kitchen. The couple runs the restaurant for 10 years. The favorite dishes I like are Fish and Vegi pan-fry dumplings, Fish fillet hot pot, and other flour buns. I enjoyed dining here with a home feeling.

I saw Go Go Cafe listed in a top pan fried buns article and thought to give them a try. They are so tiny, located next to a tarot psychic reading shop. I have lived I this area my entire life and never noticed them. Street parking is available! The interior only has room for a table for six but walking in felt like I was visiting my uncle's kitchen. A very homey vibe. I of course for two orders of the fried buns and an order of the combination noodles. The owner was very nice and it was neat to see him making some fresh buns on the side. Flavor wise the buns were pretty good - I wish the bun layer was fluffier and the bottom is layered with sesame seeds which I wasn't a huge fan of. The owner told me the menu may be changing so I'm excited to see what new items they add. :)

My wife and I have been going to GoGo Cafe for a few years. I've been to several cities in China and BY FAR this the best Kung Poa beef I have ever had. Their hours are limited these days but the food is better than ever. The shrimp stuffed eggplant is also a favorite. Enjoy!

First time visit: ordered sizzling beef, Szechuan chicken, jook, potatoes & peppers, mixed vegetables. Everything was very good. I'll come here again.

Great restaurant with Chinese food! Our group rented the whole restaurant out and enjoyed every dish. The location is great and I recommend you park behind the Marie Callender's. Go try it out!

This is my grandparents restaurant! I love their dragon steam dumpling things, I don't know what they are called because I don't read the menu. . But it's my favorite. My grandma, she sometimes makes it for me when I come back to school. It may seem small, but don't judge the looks! The food tastes amazing. :) I promise that you will love the food there.

Came here because my colleague highly recommended it. My conclusion is that I "might" come back for some XLB (which is on salty side, okay for adult but not for kids) and the sweet & sour pork IF EVERYBODY ELSE IS CLOSED. It appears that everything else I ordered have failed. The restaurant is a hole-in-the-wall with almost a family cooking style feeling to it. With that said, you should proceed with caution. Note that this restaurant is supposedly a Tian-Jin specialty place, without much knowledge of their cuisine (except pork buns, which they're suppose to be the top contender overall in China) I made sure I consulted the owner and waiter when I ordered (and he assured me all 100 items that he listed on the menu has been perfected by him). Let's just cut to the chase. XLB: good but salty. Has soup inside. Sweet and sour fish: very good, super crispy outside skin even sitting inside sauce for a while. If you must come here then you should order this (I hope they're consistent on the execution of this dish). Steamed pork buns: really disappointed with it since this is suppose to be Tian-Jin specialty. Tiny meat/filling with little flavor. Special beef in a clay pot (don't remember actual name): beef really over cooked, dry and not much flavor. Why is this even on the front page with picture? Fish pan fried dumplings: below average. Somewhat flavorless too... Stir fried squash with wood eat mushrooms: the squash's texture is rough enough to be used to scrap stuff off your burned frying pan...if the squash is in such bad shape, they should have removed the center portion to avoid this problem. The bill came to $100 even including tips (I think we ordered 2 baskets of XLB since that was really the only thing we liked and can have multiples). To be honest, the bill was handwritten in scribbles so I have no idea how it was broken down. It didn't seem unfair total priced so I just went ahead and paid for it. Will not be back. Oh...did I mentioned my can of Coke was so dirty I had to wipe it with 3 different napkins to try to get it clean enough. It's not a big issue but made me begin to think of the overall clean or not about the restaurant.

~ONE OF THE BEST HOLE IN THE WALL RESTAURANTS~ Authentic Chinese food made by a wife and her husband. This restaurant has been a go to for my daughter and I whenever we are in the neighborhood. The food may take longer than usual to be prepared but it's WORTH THE WAIT. Their soup dumplings are to die for and the scallion pancakes are a must! They don't speak much English but there are plenty of pictures on the menu to point to. Love this hole in the wall!
