“I had the Beef and Chicken Schwarma gyro. They were both good but the beef was top tier. I like that they put lots of hummus in the gyro it has a great flavor. The owner Khalid is very nice and gave us a empanada and beef kabob to review. Personally I liked the meat from the gyro the best it was more of a steak type of meat. The food here was great and I will be coming back!“

“First time here and we loved it! The food was really great and honestly a bargain. We both got the falafel plate and it came with lots of pita, olives, cucumbers, feta and we both picked a salad. The salad was a really tasty minty cabbage salad. The plate came with falafel, hummus, salad with tahini and a very good tabouleh. Both ladies that came to our table were so nice. Can't wait to come back!“

“Sofreh has the greatest food of all time when it comes to Persian food and I mean it ! Staffs are friendly and service is awesome ! Restaurant is so clean , decor is great, such a great vibe to enjoy your meal with family and friends ! Highly highly recommend !“

“Had walked by this place several times but finally came in for Burger week and was definitely impressed. Had the lule kabob wrap which was fantastic. They have some self checkout screens so they take your orders quick. Now I did go here during the middle of that heavy raining and so was timing my exit when the rain relented a bit. Finally I just decided I had to go and left. Get about halfway down the block when I hear one of the employees yelling. Which surprised me because no one was outside it was a rainstorm. I apparently had left my phone earbuds case and he ran out in the rain to let me know. Was very thankful for him going above and beyond there.“

“Amazing, fresh, flavorful food. I've always had a great meal here...lunch takeout and also catering for a small party. I highly recommend all of their kebabs, the mujadara platter and the fattoush salad. The owner is soo nice, always gives me a bottle of water when I pickup my order.Today, I got the fattoush salad, grilled chicken breast kebab, and the ground beef kebab. The kebabs come with some nice accoutrements...pickles, pepperoncini peppers, and cucumber. Soo delicious.This place is a neighborhood gem.“

“This place is really good. Service was great. I got the chicken bowl this time. Rice has good flavor, the chicken was cooked perfectly soft, tender and full of flavor veggies are fresh and not over cooked. Their pomegranate sauce and garlic sauce go perfectly well with the bowl.“

“Great food: I had a chicken kebab plate(comes with grilled tomato&pepper, hummes, pita, and rice) and Ashta Saraya(house made and like a cream cheese pudding). They are all fresh made, so everything delicious!Service: Really nice friendly owners. They didn't have a Vaklava at this time, but they gave us a sample of "Halawet El Jibn", it was also great!Vegetarian options: Falafel“

“As entreprenuers we travel the world and the unknown and get to have great experiences with people. Today we visited World Famous Grill in Downey and Hassan was the perfect gentleman. He helped us with a Kabob Combo Plate with hummus, rice salad and pita bread along with their famous Western Burger which was monstrous and delicious. Our daughter was also able to order chicken nuggets and fries as well. We appreciate these small businesses opposed to all the BIG corporations who usually say no to us asking for food. “First, the chicken breast kabob was juicy and tasty. The spicy and garlic sauce is perfection to dip in your chicken kabobs. The Sharma tasty and very cooked but not dry. The olive oil they use is good so the tabouli and Cucumber salad is fresh and flavorful. Good Olive oil makes a big difference. Also the hummus is delicious better than heidarbab, kankou chicken. Way better quality and care in food prep. This is a must go. I will come back. So far it's my favorite place for meditteranean food in pasadena.“

“Super large menu with a huge selection of Mediterranean and Mexican cuisines. You should study their menu before you get there because it's humongous. I will return to try other things. Only complaint , some portions are small and too much rice to make up for the smaller portions.“

“Staff that cares! Great place. Wonderful food. Seems lately customer service is a thing of the past. NOT here. The staff if Friendly, they accommodate seating requests if possible. I get cold , so not sitting outside or by the door makes for a better dining experience.They do keep the door open for outside diners, which can be chilly for those on the inside.They are very knowledgeable in wine selection and know how to pair well with the entrées.One super bonus, lots of gluten free selections!!!Dietary restrictions: They offer many tasty gluten and vegetarian options. “What an extremely pleasant surprise of a small restaurant. I mean the food was fantastic (tried the kebab sampler and the kofta appetizers; and my date and I just fell in love with the place). I really can't say enough about how delicious this place is. Nice outside seating on the sidewalk. The wait staff checked on us frequently but also gave us time to enjoy our food and date.“

“I am pregnant and this is the only food that I have been craving and enjoying. I love the beef kebab plate and the kefta plate! The meats are always tender, juicy, and flavorful. I also love the fresh Mediterranean salad and the beet salad, but the garlic sauce with pita is probably the best garlic sauce I’ve had at any restaurant. The staff is also friendly so they’ll be seeing more of me and my husband. Thank you!“

“Usually when restaurants serve several types of cuisines, the food is usually mediocre. Z's is the exception. I have been coming here for years, before they moved to this newer location, and their food is always good. My favorite is the beef kabob plate, much better than any Mediteranean restaurants in the area, hands down. I used to go to others, but they either changed the type of meat or ingredients to lower quality. Z's quality is always been the bestt, juicy and flavorful. Please never change . Also, their staff is consistently friendly; always smiling and doing extra.“

“Nothing, I repeat NOTHING beats Father Nature in the area when it comes to lavash wraps! I have been coming here for over 18 years and I am obsessed with their falafel and shawarma. I love the bite size chicken as well as bite size eggplant as well!! Don’t forget the spicy sauce. You guys are the best.“

“Happened upon this place as I was returning from vacation and a weekend of eating well. Let's just say it ..UNHEALTHY EATING. but that's what you do on vacation, right? So we were looking for something fresh and not FRIED OR SUGAR BASED. We popped into this place and started out with the cabbage salad and some hummus, and both were pretty refreshing and great tasting. Of course, we didn't stop there. We also ordered the pressed chicken sandwich, which came with fries (Yes, we overlooked that part), but we certainly didn't mind. Everything we had was pretty good and fresh. I had been looking for a new Mediterranean place and I found it !!! I would be remiss if I did not mention that the service was also exceptional. Our waitress, whose name escapes me, was pretty awesome.“

“This popular place certainly lived up to the hype! We got a reservation for a birthday lunch. Got sat right away on a nice balcony. The service was excellent. Attentive and accommodating. The food we got was delicious. Every single plate had something special to it. The only disappointments were that they forgot our grape leaves in the appetizer (pictured) and one pair of our utensils was pretty dirty. Otherwise a great place and I recommend it!“

“When you want to eat something filling, fresh and tasty, this is your place! The gyros are so tasty, I've had both the lamb and chicken. Both are meaty and fresh tasting. You can taste all the ingredients. The fries are so good, and they stay crispy. Highly recommend a side of the potatoes. They are so good! Everything I've had has been great. The plates are great to share too. If you are really hungry I recommend the Zeus Fries. They are enough for multiple people. “I tried this place for the first time today and I plan on going back very soon. The Garlic Chicken sandwich is absolutely delicious and a deal at $9. I took it home to eat and it kept very well, through the journey also. I even ate the second half a couple of hours later and yes—still insanely delicious.“

“Ate here for the first time the other day and oh my goodness was everything delicious! I ordered the combo that comes with one chicken kebab and a beef one. it was such a great portion! I added a side of hummus and the yogurt dip and also a hot pepper on the side. I will be returning very soon! the customer service was also great! Their garlic butter is also great!“

“Nancy at the counter is always fast and efficient. She really knows her menu! They have a variety of plates, salads, wraps, and sides. A few of my fan favorites include the works, which comes with a little bit of everything, kafta, beef, chicken, two falafel balls and two step grape leaves. Chicken wrap is made with pita bread, garlic paste, lettuce, tomatoes, and homemade salad dressing. The sides forBesides for your wraps are pickled turnips and your choice of spicy potatoes or salad. My favorite salad would be the grilled veggie salad with protein optional it has onions, bell peppers, zucchinis, yellow squash, and corn, all grilled and topped with their homemade balsamic dressing and feta cheese. Their stuffed grape leaves and falafel are always a hit as well. I have yet to try their baklava, but that is next on my list they’re located in a food plaza, so there are a bunch of other eating establishments as well and their dining areas and restrooms are always spotless. Most of the establishments have the restroom code and Wi-Fi password posted or if they don’t, you can always ask! The TVs mainly play the news and they have connections if you need to charge your phone or laptop overall, this is one of my favorite places to eat. “Wow, Wahib's is a gem of blossom Market hall, the food goes from pretty good to amazing depending on who is cooking, one of the times I was there I was lucky enough that it was some of the best beef kebabs I've ever had, even when it's not perfect it's still better than most places. I don't go to Zankou anymore because of Wahib's. The gyro wraps are pretty fantastic (they are on a lavash type bread that is grilled instead of a pita like many restaurants) and if you like garlic get the chicken wrap and make sure you get pickles on it for an extra flavor kick, it's consistly super tasty.“
