I came here to have a decent lunch but for a $10 plate they only gave me 3 pcs of beef from their broccoli beef. I can go to any other Chinese fast food place in LA and they will be very generous on their portions at near or the same price. Never coming back.

We got two bakmi GM. 2-3 hours later we were violently I'll. We were having nausea, vomiting and stomach cramp for two days. We couldn't leave the toilet for a second! This place is terrible, wouldn't recommend to anyone. Do not come here unless you want to loose a couple pounds from throwing up all day!

Place was empty and i decided to give it a try . I ordered broccoli beef spicy pork with fried rice . The only edible part of this meal was the rice . The pork tasted stale and it was more broccoli then beef . Broccoli was yellow and looked to be reheated . Couldn't finish the plate and had a stomach ache after . Stay away and find someone where better .

Please don't come here. The food is absolutely disgusting. The food is leftover and looks and taste microwaved. Please do yourself a favor and go to panda rather than this mess.

they make their friends and family rate them fives stars to keep their ratings high. i used to work here and honestly even as an employee i felt disgusted and dirty working here. save your money. the food is kept for the next day. edit: i helped them get an A rating from the health inspector since i came from experience but now i learned they have a C!? PLEASE AVOID this place for the sake of your health. Aside from the obvious rodent scurrying around this place should not be in business. A rating like C is just a hair away from getting this closed down. just imagine how revolting it really is inside.

How is this place still open??? Their food tastes terrible and I’m not picky. The bbq pork tastes so old! The orange chicken tastes odd kind of like when u leave meat in the freezer for too long. It doesn’t even smell good I’ve never been to a place that tastes so bad. And after seeing the reviews of the lady spitting in someone’s smoothie is disgusting!

Sunny Express in the El Monte area wasn't so sunny when they received an inspection rating of 75 and scored a C because of flies, cockroaches, and mice found on the premises.

I hate to leave one star reviews but this seems warranted. Not sure if they about to close or not but went there on a Tuesday afternoon around 12pm and there was 1 other person waiting for his to-go order. No one else. Also, all the entrees are no longer outside under the heat lamps like every other Chinese fast food place. You order by a list they have out and they go and fetch it for you. Ordered a 3 item combo. About 20 minutes later the man came out and was wrapping up the plate. Asked for hot sauce and reminded him of my side teriyaki sauce. He told me to wait, went out back again to the kitchen and came out. About 10 minutes later! Just to give me two containers of sauce! Wow. This amount of food is around $8 most every where else, but they have an upcharge of $2 for their "large" size, which is standard most every where else. Their regular size plate is a small most every where else. I said ok, that's cool. I can stomach the wait, and the expensive price ($11+) as long as food is good. Got home, opened up and the terribleness continued. The worse Chinese food I've ever had. Bar none. BBQ pork seems like boiled skin, chicken was tough and chewey, and barely any beef in their broccoli and beef. Chow mein tasted like charcoal. Rice worse than the pre-made ones you can get at grocery stores. Had to toss out about 90% of it. Totally ruined my lunch. I'm sure we'll see a vacant sign there soon.

We were craving for Indonesia food. One of our Indonesia friend recommended us Sunny Express. It's pretty good! They have quite selections of Indonesia and Chinese food. We ordered Sate lamb skewer, the lamb meat quality is good. I love the sweet and spicy sauce made for the skewer, it's so special and delicious. For Nasi Bungkus combo, I love the beef and chicken inside, the beef and chicken are very tender and flavor . For Mei GM, the egg noodle are really good, you barely find this kind of authentic Indonesia noodles around our area. Laska is little different than the ones that I had before, very unique. The price is very good, we ordered 4 items which can feed 3-4 people only $44. They open for Togo and inside dining now. We will definitely come back to try other dishes since they have many varieties of food.

We were there with friend. Sunny Express serve both Indonesian and Chinese food. We were there to try their Indonesian food. There isn't many Indonesian food around the area except for West Covina Hong Kong Plaza. Their have 3 different meat skewers and we chose the lamb which comes with their special sauce. They call it a sweet soy sauce. It has chop tomatoes, soy sauce, sugar, and some kind of spicy ingredient inside. Satay Kambing(Lamb skewers) tasted unique and flavorful with the sauce. Nasi Bungkus is usually packed inside banana leaves, but since it is fad food style they have not included banana leaves. Both chicken and beef are nicely cooked and flavor are light and tasty. They recommend us to try their egg noodle Mie Ayam GM which is like the Taiwanese egg noodle but a little bite more chewy. We ordered egg noodle with chicken meat. It is a unique tasty with mostly dry ingredients and no sauce around the noodle. The Laksa ingredients are a bite differ than traditional ingredients. They have use locally available items but the soup base is the same. My favor will be the dry egg noodles

I they didn't give me what I had ordered. And when I asked for more sauce she just walked into the back. Poor service and food.
