I was so hungry one night and I had no food at home. I live in El Monte so there's really not many options to choose from . I checked yelp "restaurants open near me " and boom this place popped up! I was shocked huh when did Elmonte have a dumpling restaurant?!? There weren't that many reviews at the time because they just opened but all that I saw were positive 5 stars. So I gave them a try and O man their food is great! It's kinda scary how frequent I go there but their dumplings and fried rice are soo delicious. It's a nice family run business so their service and quality of food is always consistent. I love this place !

Read the yelp reviews and wanted to try this new place even though it is further than we usually go. Monday noon was pretty quiet. Only two other customers but a few frozen dumpling buyers. Tried the pork and chive dumplings which were good. Forgot to take picture. Pan fried egg and chive was surprisingly good. Zha Jiang noodle was large and did not get to finish. Definitely a good place to have quiet meal without the noise of other Chinese places. Prices are reasonable.

Hidden gem alert! Have you ever had a meal so good you start thinking mid-meal about coming back again? This just happened to me. And as much as I want to gatekeep, I would rather this place become famously successful. This place has what I can best describe as Chinese empanadas. Their deep fried dumplings are out of this world. Seriously, order the beef cumin fried dumplings and thank me later. Crunchy on the outside, and filled with delicious soft beef and vermicelli flavored perfectly with cumin. Their other foods are also good - fantastic fried rice and excellent pan fried dumplings. The dumpling skin is so soft - they make 3 types of skin in house everyday for their boiled, pan fried, and fried dumpling varieties. The service? Oh-so-nice. The owner lady that helped us was friendly, attentive and sweet. And they give a big bowl of corn soup as you sit down. Plenty of parking out front. Come here!

I love this place's dumplings! The cumin beef dumplings are perfectly spiced! The jajangmyeon plate is huge and it is enough to feed two people by itself. The staff is really friendly. The atmosphere is laid back. The value is rather good for what you get. I plan on coming back soon.

A variety of dumplings to choose from ! They have deep fried option which reminds me of an empanada. They also have pan fried dumplings which were my favorite! We also got the shrimp fried rice and the noodles but were too hungry and forgot to take a photo. They have plenty of parking. They dining area was spaceful. They carry soft drinks in cans and also have different tea options in bottles. The chilli oil was delicious wasn't too spicy but flavorful! Service was great ! Very nice! Coming back for more next time! They also sell frozen dumplings and the house made chilli oil ! The pricing here is super reasonable!

Wow. This place was such an amazing find. The food was so fresh and the dumplings are the best we've ever had. We had fried rice, pan fried dumplings and steamed dumplings. All were delicious. Hands down 5 stars.

Food was delicious and affordable. We got 2 of the steamed dumplings (pork/chive and beef/corn), one pan fried, and one deep fried. The deep fried ones were like empanadas. We also got the fried rice, the noodles, and the off menu eggs and tomatoes over rice. The staff was also really friendly. I got a bag of their frozen dumplings ($27 for 50) to take home.

Delicious and affordable dumplings! I came because I was craving some pan fried dumplings (Jiao zhu) and they did NOT disappoint. Super large dining area. Really clean and new. We were greeted and first given complementary corn soup. I really appreciated it. I got the cumin beef dumplings, but want to go back and try so many of their other dumplings. I also got the jaja mian. And omg, the portion size was beyond what I paid for. Flavor was good, but I definitely loved the dumplings more. I absolutely LOVE their prices too. It's so rare to actually have a meal under $20 if I wanted to. I can't wait to come back and try more of their dumplings!

I am so glad my friend and I discovered this place! It is a mom and pop dumpling place with the sweetest family running it. They truly care about the quality of their food and it's absolutely delicious! The dad even came out one time to ask if the fried rice was okay or if it needed anything. I said it was great the way it was! I've been here several times and have ordered almost the full menu. You really can't go wrong with anything you order. Everything is hot and delicious! The complimentary soup is also yummy, especially when the weather is cold outside. We are pretty much regulars at this point and are more than happy to keep going again and again!

Introduction: I first stumbled upon this establishment when I was searching for quality dumplings. After reading the reviews, I decided to give this place a try. Food: Pork with vermicelli dumpling: Believe it or not, it's hard to find dumplings that are made right and well. Dumplings are a stable that rarely gets much attention but will be sorely missed if it were to disappear from the culinary scene. The pork with vermicelli dumplings is good here in the sense they're all handmade. When one bites into the pork, one can taste the pork's savoriness as well as the vibrancy for both its texture and flavors. The skin of the dumplings is al-dente in texture, neither too soft nor too hard. Beef with vermicelli fried dumpling: Normally, I only like dumplings that are boiled; the reason being the fried dumplings are often too dry for me. However, the beef with vermicelli fried dumpling is surprisingly good here. Think of it as a miniature high-quality Hot Pocket; upon the first bite the palate is greeted by the meat juices of tender beef. The vermicelli helps smooth and round everything out thereby imparting a juicy and satisfying mouthfeel to the dumpling upon consumption. Ambiance: Small Mom and Pop shop, clean and spacious. Service: The proprietor is knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, and hospitable. Price: Affordable.

Called in an order for pick up during lunch. Came there and waited my whole lunch break and had to get a refund because the food wasn't ready for over half an hour (one order of dumplings). Definitely not a quick lunch spot. 2 stars because there was only one server there who was kind and apologized.
