Unfortunately they scaled down the fish offering and now have only 4-5 options (spicy ahi, sweet ahi, salmon and shrimp if I recall correctly) but everything is super fresh, handed with a big smile and you have an outdoor area to sit in the sun. Love the place. I would stick to the poke. Tried the meat tacos and the chips with smoked white fish and wasn't blown away.

This place has changed for the worse. I started coming here in 2019 and it was so good. I grew up in Hawaii and the poke was fresh and tasted just like home with good seasoning and large chunks of fish. The owner at the time said that they shipped the ahi from Hawaii. I ate here a couple of weeks ago and was so disappointed. I noticed that the menu has changed a lot. The poke was cut up much smaller and they offered fewer flavors options. It tasted bland and not fresh. Even the smoked ahi dip with chips is not the same as before - chips are now a thin wonton type instead of the thicker cut potato chip and the dip is lacking flavor. Sad about the change and probably won't be coming back.

Oof idk what happened to this place but it went down hill. The rice was soggy and there were less poke options. The poke that was on offer wasn’t as fresh as before and heavily salted. The glass display window looked uninviting and the side dishes were begging to be avoided. I used to love this place but not sure I’ll return.

I was told their menu has changed and they didnt have the Furukaki ahi. I looked at the menu and as a local Hawaiian the menu was not too appealing. Like the offer of Kalua pork they should provide an option for Kalua pork and cabbage. Kalua pork by itself does not make an appealing dish but some do eat it that way. Braised beef?? Really ? The salmon wasn’t bad. The rice was very dry not like they use to have it. They forgot to put in the sesame miso dressing for my salad so I called them on it. The Mac salad was not made by someone from Hawaii. It was horrible. Try it and tell me that’s Mac salad we’re use to at any local place. Very disappointing as this place was my go to to get local grinds. Sorry to give this review but very disappointingAloha

The food is amazing! Such fresh ahi and tasty poke bowls! The service is also great, and customer service very friendly. It’s a casual eatery, with outside seating, so you go there for the amazing and authentic Hawaiian food, not glamour. Very tasty stuff!

The food is delicious but why waste so much plastic energy for guests dining in?

My family has been coming here since it opened in 2019, and it's been our favorite place outside of Hawaii to get great Hawaiian food. I agree with many other long time customers that their recent change (Dec 2023) in menu has been very disappointing. Although it's not up to its previous standard, it's still undoubtedly excellent Hawaiian food. I'm sure there have been changes in the restaurant industry, and for a loyal customer like myself, I wouldn't mind paying extra to keep old menu standards like the burgers and the fish and chips (home made potato chips)!

Nice place for a poke bowl, fish is nice and fresh as well as the salad vegetables. The ginger dressing is fantastic. Service was fast and friendly. I will definitely return and recommend this place.

The poke is delicious, but they used to have more flavors. I saw a location in Torrance but was confused to see only 4 different varieties, so I drove all the way to El Segundo only to find that it’s the same here. Their display window looks boring and made the experience feel a little off. I noticed the owner said that they were in the process of changing the menu. I’ll just wait to see the reviews before I even think about coming back here..

I really loved going here, but they just changed their menu and removed everything I loved about it. The burgers were amazing, and the fried poke bowl was original but it looks like they're shifting to be a regular poke place now. No more daily specials either.

For some reason these guys changed their entire menu and got rid of all my favorites. Poke is still good tho. But really disappointed in the changes . Not sure if we will be back

Oooh Ali’i Fish Co. is soo good, the poke is flavorful, prices are reasonable and great customer service. The inside has a cool island vibe, there is patio seating (Dog Friendly) It’s definitely So Cal kind of poke, if that makes sense? I mean if you’ve ever been to Hawaii they never add the sides just rice, seaweed and poke. But I have to give them kudos for abundant amount of avocado and edamame! I was a bit hesitant on the Ahi Katsu but dammmmnnn, that was sooo bomb! I can eat that all dayyyy! Give them a try!
