Kinda pricy. $19 for a standard breakfast buffet I have gotten complimentary with a stay at a competitor hotel chain. Service was a bit slow, hash browns were interesting...perhaps deep fried. They were like one inch French fry cubes. Eggs were supposed to be over medium, one was perfectly cooked the other was broken and fried hard. They were generous with the sausage links (4) and the casing snapped as you bit into them and the flavor was great. They seemed to be of a good quality. No gristle or hard bits and I wish I knew the brand. They were good. My friend's order was incorrect. He ordered the 2 pancakes, 2 eggs and 2 bacon. He received 3 pancakes, 2 eggs over medium, and 2 sausage links. The server brought out 2 crispy pieces of bacon. Everything was cooked correctly.

Horrible globalist nickel and diming headache. You pay $40 for garage that’s all the way across the street if lot is full. Desk people totally hostile. What you would expect. Avoid if possible.

Eat at the restaurant for dinner due to staying the night before heading to the airport. Food was not the best at all. Burgers come out plain you get packer Mayo and mustard when you ask for it. The plates smell like they haven't been washed so have a bad Oder. The fries where barely cooked barely are half of our food and had to stop. Wouldn't recommend the dinner here. Maybe the breakfast is better. Gave a 3 because the service is ok at least better then the food.

Good food! I got pancakes and bacon, and they were delish! Service was great too.

Food quality is fairly mediocre and the buffet options are limited. There are pancakes available on the menu if you don't care for the buffet. Service was alright! I would not eat here unless your meal is being covered by a Hilton Honors credit. It's not worth $19, and you can certainly find much better food for way less.

Menu online does not match what is available in restaurant.Place was absolutely dead when we arrived, and there was a leak in the ceiling in the dining area. But we had just walked over after a long day of driving and didn’t want to spend time looking for another place.Service was relatively friendly, but slow. They messed up 2/3 of our order, but my favorite part was that my wife was served a dinner salad that had only lettuce, avocado, and tomato. Nothing else. Had to ask for the dressing, egg, and chicken. By the the end of the meal our server actually said to us that their two cooks “don’t know how to cook”. We were shocked, but amused.

East Grand is a hotel bar, but a solid one with excellent food and tremendous service. I wonder in here tipsy and hungry after a long day of client meetings, and a couple stops on the way back to the hotel. East Grand's bartender served me a couple stiff drinks and recommended the hummus and Rueben (super solid choices, both were delicious). With a square U-shaped bar with seating on three sides, East Grand feels more like a bar than your average hotel bar. I'd definitely recommend it if staying at the Doubletree.

I celebrated my nomination today in this great restaurant. I am glad to say that it was a cool evening and the restaurant was no doubt the reason for the successful event. The waiters collaborated in a lovely style, the food was tasty and my friends were very pleased. We shall absolutely come back again for more events. thanks very much.

Breakfast buffet was included in my room rate. I would not have paid $20. For a vegetarian there was oatmeal, toast, fruit and yoghurt.

First, I have over 2 million Hilton points. I stay at Hilton properties all of the time. This property is dated but you just won't care. The staff are fantastic, the food is quite good and it is just a great friendly place to gather. This is my favorite hotel near LAX. Stay here. You won't regret it.

We went down for happy hour. The bar wasn't too packed. There are several tv's and there were 2 bartenders to take orders. We ordered the wings and the mini sliders. Each were $7. The food came out pretty quickly, 10 min tops. The wings looked great but they were so salty I couldn't eat them. The mini sliders were amazing! So good! A solid 3.5 out 5.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel LAX - El Segundo's East Grand Bar & Grille is open, comfortable featuring both indoor and outdoor seating and an equally so full bar complete with well placed flat screen TVs. Service is polite, efficient! The menu is straightforward comfort food but can accommodate most dietary preferences Thank you to Scott S. for this photo as the menu is not accessible from their Yelp page. I ordered the Rustic Veggie Sandwich at the beginning of the continuing education conference I attended August 18 and found it as promised, waiting for me, make that tempting me at East Grand Bar & Grille's high communal table. Nicely roasted veggies, pesto and a surprise layer of avocado, my fave plus another surprise, housemade potato chips. Since I was SO focused on "school" AND networking, I failed to check in on Yelp until after I'd paid my tab but if I had prior I could have received 20% off my first order. Shout out to Rob A. for the reminder and pic to ALWAYS check in on Yelp FIRST! And to the ladies and men in black and the bane of their existence: white napkin lint! East Grand Bar & Grille uses black napkins ONLY! Yay!
