ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!!! One I was able to schedule a large party of fifteen 3 days prior, where I wasn’t able to elewhere. Others restaurants required someone to call me back, a contract etc. Sasual took my large party not once but twice that week. You really kept me out of a bind where I was hosting a group of executives from Boston and New York. The service and food was out of this world. I moved to California 6 years ago and this was hands down THE BEST Mexican food I’ve eaten since I’ve lived here. Our servers were so accommodating and fast, I don’t know how you did it with such a large party. It was so good we came back a second night the same week. You are now my favorite so I will be back with the wife and I will recommend to every person who asked me. I get a lot of people who ask, where should they go to eat and this will be my #1 recommendation. Thank you Sausal.

Wow, was quite impressed with the food here. The menu was thoughtfully crafted and made it hard to choose. The salsa trinity and chips is a greater starter, the tomatillo sauce was superb. I had the chili verde pork and the flavors and tenderness were outstanding. The chipotle crema went really well with the moderately spicy sauce. Would love to try more of the dishes!

Food here is amazing, this will be one of our new favorite spots. The birria queso tacos are super tasty, the grilled shrimp really good, and the elote and chips so good as well. Not to mention the sides, the mexican rice here is uniquely cilantro green and incredibly delicious. Our toddler who usually hates eating still ended up eating a lot more than usual. The smoke show cocktail was a little sweet for me but my wife’s skinny marg came out on point.

Sausal is a gem in El Segundo. Amazing menu, fantastic cocktails (have the Smoke Show - nobody can have just five). Mezcal is the house specialty (ask for Sal de Gusano on a cucumber slice) - ask Rene behind the bar for his reccos. Favorites are the Pork Carnitas, the Lamb Barbacoa Enchiladas...absolutely amazing food, service, drinks...do not miss this place!
Great food, drinks, and service. Try the Smoke Show cocktail. It's one of their best drinks. Love the chips with the salsa trio. Try the Arroz con Pollo, it's a winner. The birria tacos are wonderful. Great spot for Happy Hour.
