I honestly enjoyed their dishes and customer service, great area right next to my residence. The staff members are always helpful. Will visit here again.

They are closed for good. So sad this was my favorite indian place for vegan chana masala and samosas :( They will be missed!

Very sweet staff! The first time I ordered, the cashier was an older woman who told me that she hoped I enjoyed the food they made. I love the Indian food here and it's the staple for my family now when we're in the mood.

Whole I'm not am expert on Indian food. My family did enjoy the meal we ate at yum Cafe. We ordered rogan Josh, mixed grilled meats, a curry lamb dish, trio of nann, and sag paneer. While I'm not a fan of goat or lamb because of the gamey flavors. We all enjoyed both of the dishes due to the mild flavor. Another good choice was the mixed grilled meats (4 meats) and trio of nann (onion, regular, and garlic). Lal were delicious. I liked that we were able to choose the spice level. As someone that can take a little spice, medium was a great choice.

Will never go back and order. Not good customer service. Not worth the effort. A few months back, when they first opened: First of all they expensive. Secondly, they told us they do military discount, when we went in they totally changed on us and pretended they never said that. We waited n waited and they didn't seem to care. Therefore, go somewhere else... not worth it

Ate here in June 2020. 3.75 stars for their effort plus I want to give them a business booth. After 3 months of eating take-out in our cars at parks for our lunch dates during this Covid19 lockdown, we decided to see what's open for dine-in. Oh, how I've incredibly missed and craved a good Indian food especially a fall-off- the-bone, melt-in -your -mouth lamb curry these past months. Our go-to is "Indian Kitchen" near EGB and Harbor Point, but they don't have buffet right now plus, we we're closer to Dollar Tree, UPS, and La Bou where this shiny new gem is located. We usually get the Lamb Curry everywhere we go but decided to try a few new dishes we don't normally get. So we got the Lamb Rogan Josh which tastes more like Butter Chicken but with lamb and a little more kick. It was good, but the portions was a small bowl for the price. I'm more of a big bang for your buck girl. We decided to go big or go home and get the Grilled Mix Platter which had shrimp, chicken, and a few other things and was $17.99. It was good even though the chicken was a tad pink inside. We returned those pieces and they recooked them for us with no hesitation. The saag paneer is also one of my normal go-tos. It's usually a sure easy bet, but this time it was way too spicy for my pallet. I wouldn't get again unfortunately because its way to spicy. They gave me some free dessert which is the lovely rice pudding. Service was great, no doubts or complaints on that. This was better than the food though. I may give them another try, but for now it's not my go to Indian spot.

This is one of the best Indian restaurants in Elk Grove. Always the friendliest staff and the food is amazing. Their chicken karahi is the best. Can't get enough of it!! Help keep this small business around and thriving strong. It's an asset to Elk Grove cuisine.

The owner had previously reached out and stated it's her small business. I do have a soft spot in this pandemic for the local business owners. Anyways, the biryani, butter chicken makahni and fish pakora are great. For those searching for great Indian restaurants, check them out. Support local business!!!

Filled me up in no time. I look forward to going back again. It has a great interior. Kinda of like a restaurant in Los Angeles I loved to visit.

I love Indian food so I was excited to try this place but I was really disappointed. The butter chicken was way too salty and lacked any flavors other than salt. I ordered paneer naan with it and I'm not sure if they got my order wrong because there was no sign of any cheese in it. I'm glad other reviewers seem to like this place because I want to support small businesses but there are better Indian restaurants in Elk Grove.

First timer and will for sure be back. I ordered the Butter Chicken with garlic nan. It was great! Had a ton of flavor, I ordered the spicy and it was just the right heat! They are only doing take out due to the pandemic they do a great job with packaging all the items to insure no spills occur. I will most definitely be back! Can't wait to try the Curry chicken!

I placed my order on their website. I went to their place about 20 minutes later and was told that they didn't receive my order. Since their website did not provide any receipt, email/text confirmation, or order number, I didn't have any way to proof to the staff that I had submitted my order. The staff was an older lady who showed me that her system did not receive my order. I was prepared to place my order again. The lady then refreshed the system and saw my order. This was now 30 mins after I had initially placed my order. The lady told me that it will take them 45 minutes to complete the order. I received my food 75 minutes after my initial order was made and they were not even busy. There was one customer that left with their food when I arrived at the restaurant and one more customer that came in after me. I did enjoy the food. I ordered butter chicken, chicken Tikka Masadla, non-vegetarian appetizer sampler, garlic bread (3 orders), half order tandoori chicken, vegetable biryani, and curry chicken. The portions were not huge. Everything cost me almost $90. Overall, I enjoyed the food; they were tasty. I appreciate that they cook their food as you ordered. However, I was not impressed with their long wait time, elementary online ordering system, and pricey dishes.
