As someone who has went here many a time with friends, and on my lunch break due to the vicinity from where I work… I gotta say I am a bit sad by this. The usual guys I see in the evening to night shifts make a bomb $&!@ Cheesesteak. But on the rare occasion I had a morning shift, I had the opportunity to visit the shop for my early day lunch, but man o man… this was just bad. The tall and skinny old guy with glasses just !$&@?% up my classic philly and he didn’t wear any gloves when making and touching my food. The beef was literally boiled since the grittle wasn’t hot so it was not seared at all, barely any cheese, no seasoning… at all… a little salt would’ve made it better since it was that bland. Least the onion rings are good. But if I’m gonna spend around $40 expecting the usual god-like food the evening and night crew makes for me and my coworker, I’d rather not get whatever this is… 3 stars since honestly it’s a die toss on whoever can actually cook. If it’s the evening crew, you are in for a meal that demands a recliner.

This experience WOW! This definitely reminds me why I haven't returned in 4 years. Great folks, good customer service. As for the food, it's absolutely horrible. Everything from the appearance of the food to the texture to the smell to the taste was horrible. The food was definitely old and outdated. After 7 minutes of consuming food, my head was puking into the toilet immediately. Instantly, I have food poisoning. Something was definitely cross contaminated or spoiled food that was served. Sad, but I will not be returning ever. After all, 65 dollars spent. I will not think twice about this place again. If you want delicious food, drive the extra distance. It's absolutely worth it. That's what I was going to do, but I thought, hey, why not try and stay close to home . Oh boy, was my choice wrong. Save yourself!

We had lunch there today and enjoyed it. I had a garlic cheese steak and Bill had a pastrami hamburger. For those of you complaining about the price of a 7" sandwich hasn't been eating out much. It was worth the price and are looking forward to eating there again. The man cooking the food was very friendly and thanked us several times and "hope to see you again". The restaurant was very clean and well-stocked. I drink ice tea and can tell they clean their machine out daily. The tea had a clean taste, not all restaurants clean their machine throughly.

My favorite cheesesteak spot west side of Philly! The sandwiches are delicious cooked on the spot and made to order. They don't really trip off adding extra toppings. The difference between this particular location and the others I've been to is the excellent customer service! The owner is engaged on the grill cooking but does not miss a "have a nice day" to a single customer before they leave. Loreen is amazing! Super nice and helpful. These guys work hard to get your food fast and right! I'd rate them 10 stars out of 10!
