Oh My

My Google search is a waste of time, arriving @Elk Cafe & Crepes it's closed down with a paper in the window saying closed until further notice. I was looking forward to breakfast with false advertisement from Google saying this location is open. Bummer??

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I’ve only known of California crepes in San Franciscos pier 39 for years that’s the only place I’ve gone to this right here beats that definitely go to this place

Hey, this is Jeremy! i went here last week and I was impressed by this lady on how polite and nice she was being to me. I'm pretty sure her name was Natalie. But she was sooo nice. Whoever is the manager of this place needs to give her a raise!

It's been a while since I've been to this place so my girlfriend and I decided to pay a visit a few weeks ago. Although it did go under new management, I still enjoyed my visit! The owner was a very nice man and offered us these crepe corn dogs which I've never seen before. The crepes we ordered (deluxe pizza & strawberry blueberry crepes) were excellent, we enjoyed it along with the corn dogs. The deluxe pizza was nice and savory while the strawberry blueberry was nice & sweet, not too sweet. I definitely would come back here again when I'm feeling crepes for a meal and I do wish the best of luck to the new management!

I just had my first crepes ever! This place is really good and the atmosphere is great. Beautiful inside and the staff were very attentive and nice. I got the deluxe pizza crepe. Oh my gosh! So good. My cousin got the vegetarian omelet and that was great too. Then for desert we got the raspberry cream cheese crepe. Soooooooo good! I will definitely be back to this place!

We came in here on a weekday afternoon. There was not a lot of choices in the area as far as restaurants open at that time so we went for Elk Cafe. The store was clean and the staff were nice. I ordered a breakfast crepe along with orange juice. Honestly, for a total of almost twenty dollars the crepe was just okay. I horked down some delicious crepes before but I can't seem to finish this one and I was starving. They carry bakery items and other goodies that you can take for a quick to-go items. My friend and I stayed here for an hour just catching up while we enjoy the food so overall it was good. I'll return to give it a second try but I'll try to order something else.

I decided to doordash today and received undercooked French toast. I'm talking about biting into my food and tasting yolk in the bread type undercooked.

I went there for the crepes and surprisingly liked the omelets more than the crepe. I got the veggie omelet since they don't have any other meat that doesn't consist pork and the strawberry cheesecake crepe. My omelet and potatoes were great, just wish it had ? avocado to replace meat and the crepe was very sweet but dry. It had the square chunks of cheesecake inside and a crapload of whipping cream (which I don't like). I'm sure I would've loved the nutella banana and strawberry crepe more but I just thought I'd try something different. Also pretty pricey $$ for what you get.

An amazing breakfast spot! Our food was delicious and looked amazing. We tried several different crepes, the macaroon, and a lolli waffle (waffle on a stick). Everything tasted amazing and the service was even better! Definenetly the go to spot for a breakfast diner in the Sacramento/elk Grove area. They also serve savory items for people less keen on sweets.

I had breakfast there on July 3, arrived shortly after they opened. I was surprised that all my food was barely warm and tasted mediocre at best. I was disappointed the utensils were in a plastic bag, that included a napkin and salt and pepper , flimsy and poor quality, and your food is served on a paper plate. Nothing fancy here, really you just get the bare minimum. I asked for maple syrup, and the cashier had no idea if they offered it, and took him several minutes to finally say they did have it, but I never got it. I was just ready to leave at that point, so it really didn't matter. 2 stars because the cashier was polite, although confused about what he was doing. Disappointing and underwhelming.

Food was mediocre, crepes were too thick, asked for over easy eggs but were over cooked. Everything was served on disposables plates, coffee cup, plastic silverware, etc. Very nice people running the restaurant but in our current environmental climate and they are considered a "diner/cafe" they should be using dishes, silverware, glasses/cups that can reused/washed. There wasn't even recycling bins for the plastic items that could be recycled. Unfortunately I won't be going back.

First the good: the staff is friendly, the meal size is generous, and the prices are fair. The bad: the food quality is mediocre, the seating isn't particularly comfortable, and the service isn't particularly quick which you would expect a small strip mall breakfast spot to be. Overall, I didn't dislike the Elk Cafe and I would probably come back but there are a lot of breakfast options to choose from. Their POS system was partially down and they messed up our order but they made up for it by offering two Lolly-Waffles. We didn't try the Lolly-Waffles but instead accepted a cup of Brazilian coffee to make up for the mistake. If you live in the area, I would recommend checking them out.

Very clean and great menu items. We ordered 2 breakfast omelettes and a strawberry and Nutella crepe. The food was good including the breakfast potatoes. The crepe omg sweets are my weakness and it was soo delicious!! The customer service is great. Very friendly and professional staff. The owner came over to our table and asked what we thought about the food. Which was amazing!!! We tried the lolli waffle on the house and omg they are really good and light. First time here and we were very impressed with the service and the food. Will be back for sure.

The Crepes are delicious and they have a large variety, either sweet or savory. I had a breakfast crepe for lunch and loved it. They also have omelettes but you can get those anywhere. Go for the crepes or the panini sandwiches. This is a family owned cafe and they are very nice and keep the place clean and sanitary.
