“As a first time customer I am very pleased! I don't live in the area but stopped by on my way to an appointment and was so happy with everything. Customer service, cleanliness, prices, variety of choices and taste. Nubia attended me & was so kind and helpful in letting me know how I could build my own poke bowl. “The food has always been good here. Fish is usually well prepared and stored correctly. Variety is limited but I’m happy with what they usually offer. The price is about right for the portion and type of food. For that I will give it 5 stars.Service is lacking however. The staff isn’t always very helpful, but they’re usually nice though! Asked about the difference between a pokee box vs naked box, and the gal had to think — maybe she’s new. Asked the best combo for sauce and they basically responded with no answer. They charge a 4% service fee. I asked what the fee was for. They just said administrative fees lol—not sure when I had to pay their admins a percentage of my meal. Gratuity is separate.It’s a small place on the corner lot but it’s cute inside.Would I come back again? Most definitely because I still think this place has better pokee than most places.“
“The food here is amazing, the Katsu always has the right crisp. However I have an issue with the bathrooms. The bathroom is really dirty, the water in the toilet was brown and filled to the top. It’s as if the workers don’t care at all about the bathroom here. It made me lose my appetite a little, but that’s my only concern. I also dislike how service can be slow sometimes but it’s not a major problem.“
“Really love my local L&L, normally get a bbq beef plate and chicken katsu plate.I rate Hawaiian bbq off their Mac salad, this one does it right and the cabbage is shaved (thin sliced) makes it easy to mix and eat with the protine choice.Food came out quickly and they packed all the sauces in with the plates without being asked.Soild choice if you're in the area.“

“The staff was so incredibly nice. They took really good care of us even though we sat at a table outside.I absolutely loved the Jamaican sauce and the tempura crunch bits. I've never seen those at a poke place before.Vegetarian options: They have tofu!“
“Been going to this location since they've opened. The food never disappoints. And when you're a regular, they give extra sauces and have friendly conversations. Although I haven't been to every location in California but I can almost say that this is the best L&L location by FAR.You will not be disappointed! Best Hawaiian BBQ restaurant in Sacramento. And their Max Salad is the best.“
“When I visit this place I always end up ordering the Ninja Roll and Eel roll and I ate it often at times. The bbq dishes are also good and one plate is literally enough for two people because portion sizes are generous. Never had any issues dining here. Price is good too.“

Shared parking with adjacent businesses, but there's always somewhere to park. Interior in reach location is modern and homey. bright setup with natural wood and rope hanging from an industrial type of ceiling. Large Windows for natural light. FOOD & DRINK: -BBQ chicken plate with extra rice no mac and cheese and the veggies is my go-to. It is the most delicious thing on a fast food menu. Made to perfection every time and don't forget the teriyaki sauce at the sauce station because those two should be married! -Spam Musubi is not one to sleep on. Get the teriyaki sauce, dip that beauty in that ocean of deliciousness and enjoy your life! PRICE: $$ - Full BBQ chicken plate with any side combination is about $13 - full BBQ beef plate with any side combination is about $13 -Spam Musubi or any of the Musubi are about $5 an order which comes with 2 -about $2 for fountain drink or Hawaiian Sun which I highly recommend. “The ramen here was amazing, the vibe is young and ready to eat some spicy ramen. I loved the egg as it was just superb and added so much richness to the broth. The takoyaki was hot and fresh but the squid didnt come through the batter still a great flavor tho. Ramen bowl was big and plentiful and the pork was just amazing in every bite.“
