This is my favorite Jimboy's. The Elk Groove location has a large internal sitting area that you can put together for larger groups. The restaurant is always clean, and the bathrooms are well-kept. The food is always well prepared and tastes great. This is the best Mexican-American chain in California. Prices have stayed reasonable through these past few years. I recommend the tacos and burritos with the filled churro's for dessert.

This place was full of employees who refuse to answer questions about why there was no sauce everyone seems like they was mad I interrupted them when I came for service. The food was rushed and tortillas was hard as hell tacos full of grease and rice was hard too I have been to several jimboys all up and down California this place off of laguna was horrible customer service and lack of love and effort they put in the food was horrible I think they need a whole new roaster of employees

When I place an order via the APP they have always gotten the order correct. Quick. No issues. Employees are quiet, not too talkative, but not rude either.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options and you can create yoir own vegetarian burrito or tacoParking: Parking lot can be annoying with traffic and limited spaces.

Friends of ours had stopped by the previous night for a quick meal. They loved it & highly recommended that we also try it. So we reluctantly decided to try it. The place is nothing fancy, BUT the tacos ARE delicious! It was prepared & served quickly. We were NOT disappointed! We will stop by if we come back to Elk Grove!

These were the worst jimboys tacos I have ever had! Discusting,burnt,most with no cheese. Staff was not friendly. This is the 2nd bad meal I’ve received at this location. The males do not know how to cook. The tortillas were burned and crispy on a bean and cheese burrito. And so full they fell apart. The tacos were tasteless. We’ve always loved Jimboy’s. Disappointed. Females know what they’re doing. More training us needed.

Encountered issues with the card reader which was fine because i was in no rush and the guy had to call his brother who I assume is the owner and he walked him through resetting the system… Just having some alone mommy time for the first time in weeks. The wait was a while to get the actually food. The man taking my order was kind calm and wanting to give good service.The only and part of my visit were the two white men behind me who assumed I couldn’t pay for my food when it was actually the card ready being down and most people don’t use cash anymore lolBesides that and the long wait for my food. It’s about 30-35 mins all together and I’ve been seeing other people come in and out with their food so idk what’s going on.OK update my food was sitting there the whole time on the counter I guess while he was trying to get the card reader up and I was trying to pay for my food that whole time they cooked it and put it on the counter.. so the food it’s cold/ been sitting there …and I’ve been gone away from my child too long trying to have a little outing alone for the first time in weeks alone so now I’m just upset with wasted money and cold food .. if you look at the receipt you can see that I arrived at 7:05 once I finally paid so i was probably in there way longer and the food was sitting there the whole time.. got a refund he apologized and offered to make me fresh food but I’m just ready to get back home to my baby now
