I ordered the chicken and Macaroni plate. I assumed it would be like LL bbq but was not. Chicken was flavorless and dry. rice was mushy and macaroni was to mayoish, it made me sick.. sorry I will not be going there again.

Recently I was at El Pollo Loco and I noticed a new restaurant nearby called "Ramen 101". A few days later I phoned in 3 dishes To Go. It was ready in 10 minutes. Hawaiian BBQ Beef dinner with rice and macaroni salad. Ample portion of beef strips, steamed cabbage. The flavor was a mild teriyaki sauce. I liked that there was ample rice of high quality. Hot and fluffy. Next time I will order a smaller portion in a bowl. Kaki fry. 6 fried oysters with a tangy mayonnaise sauce . Unagi Rice , delicious 3 inch square of broiled eel over rice. Drizzled with light teriyaki sauce. I loved it. I hope to dine in and have noodles on a future visit.

My first time here and forever be my last. This review is for their ramen only since I haven't tried their Hawaiian BBQ but since I won't be returning to this place and knowing what I know about the food hubby and I did try, I can guess the rest of their food is just as CRAP so I won't be missing out anyway no less. Let me tell you (from an Asian), this is straight-up what we call white people ramen, which is what we asians don't consider "real ramen" because it's so bad that only people who don't know any better would THINK it's good. This is the worst food I've ever had the displeasure of putting in my mouth. Hubby ordered the Shoyu, which he said didn't taste at all like Shoyo---as ppl who are familiar with real shoyu, it is a supposed to be soysauce-based broth but hubby said it had a strange bland "wild" taste to it like it was pork-based broth and not the soysauce broth we all know and love. I got the Miso Ramen and it also had a strange taste to it that did not taste at all like miso. The black asian truffle which I am all too familiar within my culture...wasn't even chopped up like every other ramen place, it was just three high giant blobs sitting in our bowls making it look so unappetizing. We also ordered the Takoyaki which looked fine on the outside but the moment we bit into one, it was oozing with mushy raw batter inside as a result of being extremely undercooked. We had to dump the entire thing because we didn't want to get sick from it. The spam mushubi omg....how does anyone get spam mushubi wrong??! It's the easiest thing anyone can ever make (all you do is just follow the damn template). It takes a special kind of talent to get Spam Mushubi wrong and this place managed to do just that! The spam to rice ratio was ridiculously off. There was like 2x more rice than a spam mushubi calls for on a VERY SKINNY slice of spam. It looked like a big ROUND a** log of rice, it was huge. They didn't even use a mold for it, common guys it's a dollar at DAISO. Not only that but there was SOOOO much rice, it was so huge that I couldn't even fit it into my mouth. I had to rip half of the rice out. And who puts the sauce on the OUTSIDE of the spam mushubi?! It's supposed to go on the INSIDE only to marinate the spam and the rice. Ultimately it just made it very sticky, messy and difficult to eat as a finger food. No bueno. Never returning to this place again. Fake ramen, fake food, fake everything. I don't mind spending money on food but it has to be good. If you want real ramen, go to a real reputable japanese ramen shop. If you want white people ramen, this is your place.

Don't Waste Your Time! Half of the time, they don't have their menu items in stock. Very disappointing. The first two times that I went there, I was very impressed. I had the tempura prawns, BBQ Beef plate, and Seafood Ramen which includes shrimp. It was very good and I expected that I would become a regular customer. On the third consecutive day, I was going to try them out again as I was cruising the menu. When I called to place my order, I was told that they were all out of beef and shrimp. Are you serious? I was told that they would have their delivery early Sunday morning. I chose to cancel my order rather than purchase something other that what I wanted but thought I would try Sunday after the promised delivery. On Sunday afternoon, I again called to place an order which included beef and prawns and was again told that they were waiting on delivery and were all out. For a Ramen house, beef and shrimp are staples and are included heavily in Ramen 101's menu. It is very disappointing that you get told" We will give you extra chicken" when you are not even ordering chicken. This is poor management. When you have poor management, what else is also wrong? Try somewhere else that will have what you want!

A good variety of ramen bowls and plates. The food was very flavorful and cooked perfectly. It was clean. Restrooms are clean.

This was my first time eating here and the food was less than mediocre. The ramen noodles were soggy and very much clumped together. The pork tonkatsu pieces were thickly cut, along with the fish cakes. Each piece would have been enough for another bowl of ramen if cut in half. We ordered some appetizers and those seemed to be over cooked as well. Was not worth my money and was not satisfying in my opinion!

Came in to order takoyaki and macaroni salad, the macaroni salad is alright is a bit heavy on the mayo. Takoyaki was ice cold in the middle, some of the batter was still cold in parts. It was also dry with minimal sauce on top.

I requested no roasted pork in my ramen bowl and inquired about replacing that pork with an extra egg, and they did indeed give me an extra egg. I know they didn't need to because it's an extra charge to add one usually, but I really appreciated that they did.

My wife was looking for places to eat and stumbled on this one. The reviews were mixed but we decided to try it out and see for ourselves. They were closing at 8PM and we got there at 7:30PM. There was a family eating and one guy waiting for his food for pickup. When we got up to the counter the lady said that they have already closed their dining room. I guess they all wanted to go home on time. It was kind of irritating since we wanted to eat inside. I asked my wife what should we do and we decided to do the takeout anyway. I asked the lady what was the best ramen they have. She said the Tonkotsu was their most famous. However she said the best is the pork rib or black garlic. I went with the pork rib ramen and we got the Hawaiian BBQ mix plate. My wife added a prawn tempura. The ramen was pretty good. They pack it separate so the noodles don't get soggy. The pork was nice and had a lot of flavor. The mixed plate was good to not dry. Everything was juicy. We were surprised since we were the last people to be severed. Glad it wasn't dry. All in all not bad despite all the bad reviews. I still was disappointed that they said we couldn't eat inside. I thought it was a little rude but I know people want to go home. Till next time.

I came in with my coworkers last week to dine in and was pleasantly surprised to find some great food and a new spot as a lunch option. The process is pretty simple. You order up at the register then find a seat and they deliver your meal when it's ready. We started with their lumpia and gyoza. Both were pretty good and I loved the texture. Neither fried apps were overly oily, which was great. They offered soy sauce and chili oil packets that I really appreciated! The chili oil actually had a nice kick to it too. For my entree, I had their bbq chicken and chicken katsu mixed plate. The portion is incredibly generous. It was like 3 meals in one container. I enjoyed the katsu the most, because who doesn't like fried food? Lol, but it was on the darker side and it tasted a bit off. I suspect they might have fried it in old oil. The bbq chicken was pretty standard. The entire plate compares to L&L, but I may be more inclined to L&L for a few reasons. One being the price. I believe the plate was $14-$15? And at L&L you can have the same for about $10-$11. However, the biggest factor for me is that they don't allow substitutes for the rice or Mac salad...which is a bummer cause I usually opt for all Mac salad. Lol, I will say they have better vegetable options though! Instead of the warm cabbage, I was given nice chunks of broccoli. The staff were all really friendly and the service was really fast. Also, my coworkers seemed to enjoy their ramen. I'm sure we'll all be back again!

A repeat performance...and they always live up to expectations. The you guys that run that place are great. They know how to do Hawaiian BBQ. We ordered pork rib ramen...man hmmmm cant get enough of it. One thing I notice about this place as well.. IT'S CLEAN!...not your typical asian restaurant.

Don't get the vegetable ramen it literally tastes like dirty towels where soaking in water and used as broth it also smelled awful.
