Normally, best Panini's!! This time, 2 ladies thought it would be funny to serve the disabled lady a sandwich barely cooked, Chicken was still cold, cheese didn't even melt. Usually, so hot, I have to leave it open to cool. But I had one appointment Elk Grove, then hurry to next appt in Folsom. Wanted to eat on the way. Never again. How rude! (Located inside Dignity Health.)

R Had an appt in the building in the morning, and I was pleasantly surprised to see this convenient and cute little Cafe. This place was true to it's name, "Rising Sun", as my interaction and purchase experience with the representative was warm and friendly, and it set the tone for the rest of my day.

I was very surprised how good the croissant breakfast sandwich was. Better than a lot of other places that serve breakfast sandwiches! The service was excellent as well.

Miss Lizette. Very very nice lady. If it is not too busy she is always happy to entertain Luke great kid to help miss Liz run the biz. I would highly recommend the salads but i have an appetite at times. Gotta add chicken double that why you may ask she gives a very hearty nourishing portion of vegetables because a mothers love knows nourishment to a child she provides that to each of her salads but i need more chicken!and happy to pay the extra her white mochas are delish but if you want something cold A large matcha green tea frapp! and do an add pump(s) of vanilla(sugar free too) sadly they close at 3 but if you are early and want some pastries with your coffee she picks the nices donuts and pastries DAILY so if you seeing your doctor miss Liz will be happy to provide laughter

Great service and tasty sandwiches!!! Well priced too. The gentleman who helped me in the front was extremely helpful and very kind. The croissant bacon sandwich was just what I needed while waiting for x-rays.

Awesome place to get your coffee on. Lizete aims to please. She is so full of positive energy and so sweet. No wonder hubby keeps coming back for his cup of coffee. She is Japanese, Brazilian born & can speak both Portuguese & Japanese fluently. She mentioned she has two teenage boys who play tennis & just recently won a huge pumpkin pie not the thanksgiving turkey! I was surprised I hadn't written a review here but felt the need to try a few more of her items out still. Her donuts she picks up at the local Raley's nearby. You can see them in the refrigerated case above the drinks, sodas & water. I am a huge fan of her peppermint mochas & caramel brí»lée lattes. They are TDF & ultimately very perfectly made! Yum!!! She told us they are from Starbucks' recipes. That explains how wonderful they are. We bombarded her with salad orders & another doctor wanted a burger. By that time another nurse who was running late skipped ordering from Rising Sun bc Lizette said it would be at least 10 minutes. So she walked out, saying she was already late. Oh well her loss. Hubby reminded me everything is made fresh here. I enjoyed my chicken caesar salad with her Asian sesame dressing though hubby's mixed salad looked even more appealing! Actually this small unassuming cafe is ideal for those who work in the building or those who have appointments in the Dignity Health offices. There are four separate tables that seat three people comfortably. It's there for the convenience. It's not until just recently I've been frequenting it more after meeting Lizete, the owner. Come by for that cup of joe. You might meet an awesome new friend! I can guarantee it! Oh btw they are closed for the Thanksgiving holiday! I guess I have to go elsewhere for my peppermint mocha or caramel brí»lée latte! They open normally Monday through Friday 730 through 3 PM. See you soon Rising Sun cafe! Now I totally get the name!

Highly recommend this small establishment to anyone looking for FRESH food, good customer service, and an overall rejuvenating experience. I've tried a good amount of their sandwiches and not one of them has been stale or old. Always fresh and the best. I also enjoy the seating area. There's a lot of nice decorations even though it's in a hospital and even a small protrusion that allows visitors to sit "outside" surrounded by the window that encloses the protrusion. Putting the icing on the cake, they make many of he Starbucks drinks! All of them are a little cheaper and seem to be just a little bit better than average Starbucks drinks. Wow right? Everyone should try this place at least once. It's located just inside the Dignity Health hospital off of Elk Grove Blvd. I absolutely love the place.

Rising Sun cafe is hidden in the lobby of Dignity Health Medical Plaza . They are located at 8220 Wymark Drive in the city of Elk Grove Ca. As you enter the Medical Plaza you'll find Rising Sun Cafe to the left as you head towards the elevators. The employees are fantastic ! Their hours are 7am-3pm Monday - Friday. Closed Saturday and Sunday and all Holidays. They serve breakfast , Hot & Cold sandwiches, ( Hamburgers, Paninis, Wraps, Salads, Kids menu, Soft Drinks, Muffins,) What's so nice about this cafe is that they serve "STARBUCKS BEVERAGES" from their coffees to their Lattes, Mochas, Frappuccino, Tazo Tea, Coffee and More! I enjoy coming here when ever I'm in the area. I can get my "STARBUCKS BEVERAGE"! There is plenty of parking and best of all" NO LINES!" HA-LA-LU-YA!
