I'm never buying from this place again! I placed my order online at around 2:30 PM and specifically requested it to be ready for pick-up by 5:30 PM. I gave them more than enough time to get it right. But when I finally went to pick up my order, the box was sealed shut, making it impossible to check if they had given me the correct pizza. So, I get home, only to discover that they had actually given me the wrong pizza! Outrageous! I immediately drove back to the place and confronted them about it. I mean, I paid $37 for that pizza! The nerve! They said they will make me a new one, so I patiently waited. But here's the kicker - after 7 minutes, new customers waltzed in and placed their orders, as I waited. To make matters worse, another person came in and received their pizza after waiting for just 5 minutes. Meanwhile, I was still waiting for mine! The person who had received my pizza even come back and get their correct order after just 5 minutes. Unbelievable! So, I asked again when my pizza would be ready. And guess what? Both the baker and the customer service were annoyed with me for asking twice! Can you believe the disrespect? Finally, after what felt like an eternity, I received my BBQ chicken specialty pizza. But guess what? It was undercooked, and the dough was raw! I had a strong suspicion that they intentionally gave me the undercooked pizza because I had been asking about it repeatedly. Can you believe the level of unprofessionalism? Overall, I gave this place more than three hours to get my order right. And yet, they managed to mess up in every possible way - wrong order, undercooked food, terrible customer service, and poor food quality. I am beyond furious!

Decided to take a break from turkey this year and pre ordered several pizzas amd other items a couple days in advance for Thanksgiving.$100 order went thru fine. Come 2pm on Thanksgiving no pizza. Called several times and no answer. At 3pm drove there to see what was going on...and they're closed.I understand being closed on Thanksgiving but don't accept the order for delivery then. Accepted my $100 just fine tho.Attempted Pizza Guys order and was immediately rejected saying theyre closed. That's how it should work!Terrible service will not use Round Table ever again.

last night I ordered a large vegetarian pizza with regular crust from the Round Table Pizza on Laguna & Franklin for delivery. The pizza was horrible. The veggies were raw, cold and consisted mainly of diced tomatoes and canned olives. The cheese was rubbery, the sauce almost non existent and the crust paper thin. I called Round Table, explained the situation and requested a new pizza. When the delivery driver arrived I gave him the old one in exchange for the new. The new pizza was the same as the old except slightly warmer. We cooked it longer but it didn't help. The cheese was still rubbery, there was hardly any sauce and the crust tasted like a saltine cracker without the salt. I've never had a pizza taste this bad before, not from anywhere. After paying $42 for the pizza and a $10 tip to the delivery driver, this one went in the trash.

Good pizza!!!!!!Wow. Finally we got pizzas we could eat; not only eat, but enjoy the taste of the pizzas. Vegetarian and a medium pepperoni. Everybody is happy. Good vegetarian. Equal amounts of veggies on the entire pizza. Just enough sauce. Just enough cheese. Really really good.Pepperoni - a lot of pepperoni covered the pizza. Just enough cheese. Just enough sauce. Very delicious.Great FAST delivery by *gasp* an actual Round Table delivery person! Whoooo hooo!!!!Extra tip for her! She found us quickly and arrived early.Going to be our regular pizza place. We are very very happy.
We often used to dine in, get carry out, and delivery here. Not anymore. I got carry out tonight, I'm now questioning my judgment. Upon entry, the first thing you see is a dirty front door that from the looks of it doesn't ever get cleaned. The second thing you notice is the dirty floor. I went to the counter to say I was there to pick up a pizza but waited entirely too long for her to resolve whatever technical issue she was having with the computer system. This was while people were in the food prep area were visiting with each other. We're going to the competition right across the street from now on.

What Happened In Two Weeks?Round Table had always stood for high quality pizza and other food. I have been going to them since the early 80s and actually worked for them for years while I was in Uni. It's always been kind of a thing in the Bay Area that it was understood if you went with Round Table for pizza it was going to be more expensive BUT it was always worth it. It didn't matter it cost more because their pizza was just so much better than the cheap places. (Their other foods as well.)I recently moved to Elk Grove and since we have been here we tried a few other pizza places and frankly they left something to be desired. So, about two weeks ago we spent the extra dosh and ordered Round Table both pizza and wings. (BTW RT's wings have always been the best in the business taste wise and size wise.)Everything was FANTASTIC. I mean it blew us away how good it was. We decided then we weren't going to order anyone else's pizza again. Fast forward to this week. Can I ask what the heck happened in those two weeks?I know RT pizza. I know RT wings. What we got this week was just dreadful. It was embarrassingly bad. The pizza was just passable but WAY lower than the standards we have come to expect. The crust was so thin and limp it beggared belief. It was like flimsy paper, hardly a crust at all and very hard to bite through. I will say the ingredients were ok but the portions so small it was less than Domino's. Really? RT? Is this really you? We also had some wings. One of the major reasons I always come back to RT besides their pizza is their wings. They are plump, full of meat and cooked to perfection. As I said above, this has been sort of a secret for years that RT has the best wings hands down. That said what we received this week was out of horror show.First, they were TINY. I mean less than half the size they were just two weeks ago! Of the ones we bothered to eat, they were all skin and almost no meat and what meat was there was dried out and hard. On top of that they were all the wing portions and no drumette portions. Some of them actually had the bones sticking through them and were bare of meat! (see pic). We only were able to eat two out of our whole order. Which made me so sad because wasting food, in my opinion, is just a horrible thing to do but we were afraid for our health at that point. It really breaks my heart to write the review of a pizza place I have loved for over 40 years. I hope this was a one off or something and not "corporate" cheapening the brand. If we try them again and all is well I will happily change this review. I really hope this was an aberration and not a sign of thing to come.
