SOLID SOUTHEAST ASIAN DISHES WITH GREAT FLAVOR! After a workout with at the nearby Crunch, my friends and I decided to give SEA Bowl a shot, enticed by their Lunch Special options! We ordered 3 dishes, all of which came with an Egg Roll & rice. The Lao Lover was an awesome dish; it was fried pieces of chicken, in a savory and spicy, chili, garlic sauce. The sauce all together with the rice was great together! It was so good I had to get an order to-go for my girlfriend to try for lunch and she thought it was really good as well! The two lunch dishes we got were the Beef Skewers and the Chicken Skewers, both come with 5 Skewers each order! The Chicken Skewers were seasoned very well; a bit on the harder side rather than soft but they were still good and not dry! The Beef Skewers were also decent as well and had the good SouthEast Asian flavor. The Lao Lover was definitely my favorite of the 3 and I would come back to have it again!

They have the best cure for hangovers. Their ox tail broth in a to go cup!! If you haven't tried it please do. Thank me later. Also my favorite Cambodian dish; Prahok tiss!! So f****** fire. There is not a lot of Cambodian restaurants so please support! TBH I'm waiting on my broth right now!

Tried this place the first time and it was actually good. They offer lunch specials and happy hour appetizers that are really good and filling. The beef and chicken skewers were amazing. The egg rolls, chicken wings and cream cheese wontons were okay. Ordered the Kapoon soup and it had a very rich flavor. The oxtail soup was good and the broth was smooth. Give this place a try!

One of my favorite if not the only Cambodian restaurant I love to eat right in the heart of Elk Grove this little place will blow your mind.

Me and my friends came last week, and the food was very good, and the customer service was great! Both waiters were exceptional but Sean/Shawn(?), was great. He made sure we had everything we needed and it was just overall a good experience. Definitely coming back! Thank you Sean/Shawn!

This restaurants been great, we love coming Here since they opened and particularly for their ox tail & kasoy. However, this time around for the first time both the ox tail and kasoy tasted water down. Not flavorful as before. I'm usually not picky and I never put condiments in my broth when it's good. But for today, I had to add condiments to make it tasty. Since we came during happy hours (3-6pm) I believe. We ordered eggrolls and chicken wings. Nothing exciting about these appetizers. The eggrolls didn't seem like they make it, More like store bought and the chicken wings didn't have flavor as it was over fried. ( this was my first time trying the chicken wings, for eggrolls my daughter wanted it so I ordered it for her). I don't know what happened this time around, but my experience weren't that great but we had a great waiter. He was very quick and attentive.

Love love love! All the soups are so tasty. Nice large portions. The skewers are so good. The owner is so nice and is busting her butt in the kitchen every time I go in! This is a weekly spot for me.

My sister and I have been going here for years, ordering their kapoon or khao piak (which I believe they stopped serving awhile back? I'm not too sure) and various sides. Today we ordered Kapoon, the Jay Chan Bowl, egg rolls, and cream cheese wontons. There's not much to say about the sides, but the main bowls were lacking. I can't say much about the service since I ordered for takeout but I was met with nice workers when coming to pick it up. I loved their kapoon for its flavorful soup base but this time it fell flat. The soup had no flavor (almost as if it had been watered down) and my bowl was swimming in oil, covering my entire bowl and creating this thick rim at the edges. I thought I was tripping since I haven't come here for a couple months until I went online to see their menu photos, which looked nothing like my bowl and contained much less oil. The chicken that comes in my broth is usually super tender and tasted just like the soup it sits in, but this time around it tasted like it was blanched in hot water and thrown in last minute. My sister ordered the Jay Chan bowl and didn't like it. She complained it was salty. Even the Thai tea she got tasted bottled. I don't know if I'll come here again since the flavor has changed so much. But overall I was not satisfied.

Great tasting food with authentic flavors. The staff was extremely helpful and was happy to point you towards the local favorites in the restaurant. Can't wait to stop by again sometime

Super yummy and cheap! They have a happy hour menu that has all of the goodies worth trying. I have eaten here many times and have ordered things like the friend chicken, fried, skewers, egg rolls, bhan mi, Thai tea, and the bowls...I have not once been disappointed because practically everything is good! The staff are really nice as well. I believe indoor dining is once again open, just know that if you dine indoors that the space is limited so it's not a great place to dine in with a large group. BUT def worth getting things to go if you are trying to eat with lots of people.

Pretty good stuff. Server's great, serving is a lot, and even the water on tap's good. Not everyone can say the same for all restaurants you know.

You have to come try this place!!! This small hole in the wall place is amazing. The food is the best in town, I don't think I've had better Kapoon in the Sacramento area. There are so many options here and they just recently started having a happy hour that gives you a super good deal from 3 to 6 PM. Definitely going to come out again because I want to eat the entire menu!!! The waitresses here are also very kind, she seemed young but was very outgoing and made sure to check on me multiple times through out my visit!

This place has always been close to my gym and finally last week got the time to go there last week. Nice cozy small place with a few tables for dining inside. I mainly came here for their "angel wings" or as they have it "stuffed wings". These are bomb. Its hard to find places that have that. There was one by my work but it closed down in Natomas. Anyway, the stuffed angel chicken wings are a must have here. We also ordered the drunken chicken noodles and chicken fried rice. Food was delicious. The portions were great. However, from my previous experience I felt the size for the wings were a lot smaller. I will recommend to order all your food at once as sometimes service can be a little slow. Nevertheless I will definitely be back here again and recommend to others.
