This was my first time trying S.E.A. Hut at their 1501 N C St. location. I loved the shrimp skewer, and crab rangoons. The flavor of the shrimp was delectable and very juicy, not dry at all. I will be trying the rest of their menu. Their prices are very affordable, whether ordering a side or a whole meal!

I went in after a long day of work and boy was I surprised by the quality of service! They had great servers, very attentive and excellent energy. Then the food in combination was also freaking amazing. I'm a SEA person and it definitely was authentic. The skewers had that herbal flavor and texture to them, in addition to the Lao sausage. I'm not a huge papaya salad Laos style fan but my friend said she loved it!I personally enjoy smaller Lao sausage because it allows the skin to be crispier but this one was packed fuller and with a good traditional herb flavor.I'm not a fan of the meatballs as i felt they were missing an extra umph, like a sauce (not the typical sweet chili sauce) but without a sauce it needed something savory from the meatball seasoning. It had a good texture but lacked the savory.I personally enjoyed the loaded fries the best, the shrimp that was deep fried with the fries were perfectly cooked. The shrimp still had a good and firm texture with the outside being super crispy. All and all, definitely a place I'd come back to.

Kapoon and the Sea Fries were excellent! The fried rice salad and the chicken noodle soup were fine. The noodles were a little too soft.

Really plain and simple Thai food. The place is plain as plain can be. Food was not bad, more like street food in Thailand.

Came for the Vegan Chef Challenge. The online site said the papaya salad was sold out, so I didn't ask about it. I got the other two dishes, the vegan egg rolls and the vegan tofu stir fry. The vegan egg rolls came in a pack of 5, and they're fairly large/long in comparison to standard eggrolls. They weren't sure if the sauce was vegan, so I didn't get it. They tasted good, like a standard eggroll. It was fresh and not too greasy. May have been better with a sauce, but it was fine without it. The vegan tofu stir fry was good! It had really good Cambodian flavors. It had large chunks of tofu, bell peppers and onions. The sauce it was cooked in was lovely, strong ginger flavor and other spices I probably don't recognize or are not familiar with. I also got the Mango Madness drink, which is on special on Monday's. It was a refreshing beverage with pieces of mango, a mint leaf, it's carbonated with a strong mango flavor. Parking- plenty in the strip mall. Ambiance- very clean and lots of space to sit and eat. Since the vegan chef challenge is wrapping up I asked if they would continue with these vegan dishes, and they told me they would keep vegan specials in rotation each month! Love this! And would love to keep trying these Cambodian flavors in vegan dishes. Good job S.E.A. Hut!!

Great find! A hidden gem. Good portions with good prices. Food was great as well as the service. Little confused how to eat the stew with a side of noodles, but I figured it out and it was yummy.

If you are looking for REAL and delicious Lao food, this is it. I've gone to multiple places from Turlock to Stockton and it's very hard to find a place that can make good papaya salads! I was very satisfied with what I ordered. Everyone has their own taste but this place is worth it in my opinion. There use to be an authentic Lao food location in Ceres called "Sticky Rice" but was closed down and ever since, I was not able to find good Lao food.

A long awaited visit to this place. I wish it was open more than their current operation hours. Anyways, their staff are kind and the cashier was very helpful. They have a steady flow of dine in and takeout customers. I wanted to try the oxtail fried rice special because I was intrigued. It was a good choice, hopefully that will become part of the regular menu. I ordered the grilled pork banh mi and fries. The banh mi had a lot of meat and the portion of the fries were plenty. I was very satisfied with my meal. I want to come back and try some soups!

This business really gave my wife a hard time. She made a charge transaction & told them it went through although it was really super slow. Darn Mercury was in Retrograde. In fact my wife saw the day before another neighborhood restaurant's Xfinity went down so they only accepted cash. Gift their manager told her she needs to pay again bc she didn't see it on their end. Her charge payment went through 3 days later. Despite that my wife did pay by cash initially while at the restaurant bc of Gift's insistence. My wife called 3 days later to let Gift know. The owner called her back to tell her she issued a refund. Refund came through the following three days. Whew! Thank goodness. My wife ordered the Angel wings & chasu chicken skewers. Bc of the EG Diversity Dining & we spent over 25 dollars she also received five egg rolls. She ended up getting sick later. She won't ever return now after this negative incident. My wife saw that another Yelper also get food poisoning as well so be careful. He mentioned their food doesn't taste that good! Aw sometimes we have to learn life the hard way plus my wife was too nice in this particular instance.

My biggest issue with SEA Hut is that because I follow them on social media I constantly crave their food! It looks amazing in their Instagram stories and posts and tastes just as good. One of my favorite things to order is the Kapoon. The broth is so flavorful and all the ingredients are fresh and delicious. It's hard for me not to order this dish each time I visit. Some other items I like to order are the skewers, their sandwiches, the wontons and I love trying new things or items from their specials. I also love that they have green Thai tea as an option, I've only had it a couple times but it's a lot more floral than regular Thai tea and really tasty.I typically order take out, but they do have dine in options. Since they're in a plaza, parking is pretty easy and the staff has always been friendly when I've stopped in.

I am so upset I forgot to take photos! This place was fantastic and the food was soo good. I was too quick to dig in and absolutely finished up my plate before I even considered taking photos. We got the Cambodian Sour Kroeung Beef Soup, Lao Pork Sausage, Kaopiek, and the Nam Khao. The must order dish for me here is the Nam Khao, and following that would be the Sour Kroeung Beef Soup or the Lao Pork Sausage. I personally didn't care for the Kaopiek, although I thought it was good it isn't to my personal taste/texture. I will definitely be back for more (and take photos next time).

This place is soooo good. I keep going back frequently and haven’t tried anything that I didn’t like yet!I’m also vegetarian and I’ve been able to sub tofu for meat in most dishes, or I just order the dish without the meat. The sandwich I got with tofu is perfect. They just made some wontons without the imitation crab, and they’re probably the best tasting cream cheese wontons I’ve ever had! Seasoned and with onion! But hands down, the two most favorite things I have tried are Nam Khao and Kapoon. The soup is perfect, warming and filling when you are hungry. The noodles are insanely soft and it’s spiced just right when we ordered mild heat level. Nam Khao (ordered without sausage) is unlike any other rice dish I’ve ever had and the flavor was amazing.Their drinks are also super refreshing! I had one that tasted like pina colada and it was so great on the hottest day of the summer!I don’t know… I’m a fan! I’d recommend this place to anybody - even vegetarians. :)
