Casual setting, has a nice couch and functional restrooms. A good place for gathering or just to pick up some fun food and Boba! I've been very pleased with my orders. The potstickers are a little unusual, a crunchy crust with seasoning, but very good if you're okay with a bit of spicy on the mild. Service is polite and very quick, they can take a little more time with food, it isn't pre-made. Wait time is not long, and it's all very tasty :)Vegetarian options: A few items don't have meat, but I don't know if anything is veganParking: In a strip mall, not impossible to find parkingKid-friendliness: Lots of fun food and drinks, and a small book & game library library.

Small details matter like the servers don't have long fingernails and wash their hands frequently. I ordered a base black tea with half the sweetness to test it out, and they got it on point.

Great drinks that arent overly sweet and dont taste like highly processed junk. Chai tea is my personal favorite here. They also give you the perfect amount of ice so you get a good amount of drink for your money. My favorite snack is the popcorn chicken. Keep in mind it can get higher in the spice range depending on your pallet, for me its perfect.

Tapioca and Tea is one of the pioneer boba tea shops in Elk Grove. They're the very few first-generation tea bars that can still open until now in the highly competitive market for boba teas in Elk Grove today. My favorite items at Tapioca and Tea are their snacks. The Popcorn Chicken and the Fried Tofu are excellent. So yummy! I couldn't stop as soon as I took the first bite until the whole thing was gone! lolThe dining room is enormous, with a huge round table in the middle. It is perfect for high school kids who want to come here to study and have some snacks and drinks at the same time. The parking lot is busy but safe. Hard to find a parking spot in front of the store. I usually parked my car a little far away from the building. Avoid the after-school time here unless you're the student who comes here after classes.

Very good boba place! It tastes like a classic boba place and not like the newer ones. I really like it the food is amazing, especially the popcorn chicken (medium spice) and fried fish balls. My favorite boba spot now. Workers are very nice as well. Thank you.Parking: Good amount of space

5 stars for popcorns chicken. It's crispy, juicy, spicy and simply delish! I always order over the phone since it takes 15 minutes for them to prepare.

Calamari is really bad. Like the type that they use isn't the typical calamari in a boba shop, it's very chewy and thin, kinda like a shoe string. Their batter is also tapioca so it gets very chewy and hard fast compared to typical batter used for fried snacks.Their almond milk tea is pretty good, the cashier mentioned how they use a pre-made powder for all of their drinks. That probably explains why you can't really change the sweetness of the drinks (they're really sweet)Would come again if I was in the area, but there's better spots in EG.

A hidden little gem in the corner of the strip mall.Roast tea milk with boba- a bit too sweet for me with the addition of boba added more sweetness which I didn't like. But if you're a sweet tea person definitely get it.Popcorn chicken- way too salty after a few bites we had to go buy a water bottle just to wash down the saltiness. I even ask no added seasoning...Fries- again way to salty I even ask no seasoning and I got a lot of seasoning. Already on the freeway when I realized and couldn't go back Overall it was good but it could have been great if my order was properly made.

Stopped off for some boba on our way back to Reno and had a pleasant experience. My brother never has had boba before and the employees were super patient describing different varieties and making suggestions. My husband got a snowball which was our first experience with a blended boba and he thought it was great! I got the mango tea with popping lychee boba and it was actually the perfect amount of sweetness. Sometimes I have a hard time with boba if it is too sweet. My brother had the Thai tea milk tea with tapioca boba and for his first experience he really enjoyed it!We got the Buffalo popcorn chicken which was a little too oily for me and I did not enjoy it. We also got the jalapeño poppers which were pretty good but the breading on them tasted a little sweet. Not sure if this was on purpose or if they're just deep fried with something else that is sweet. Overall we would come back for boba.
