I have been coming to this families restaurant since i was 12 years old, and it was called Panda South on laguna blvd and bruceville. They had to shut down Panda South, and they reopened as Tea Garden when i was 20. I didn't come to find out about Tea Garden, however, until about a decade after, i am soooooo happy I found them again.

I ordered take out, but the atmosphere of the restaurant looked inviting. They were friendly and the food delicious. I will go there again, and often. Loved it.

Good place to eat. Service is fast, friendly and professional. Food portions are a lot for the price. Only one small complaint - too much sauce on the general, lemon, orange, sweet & sour chicken. Just too much sauce that spills into other food on the plate. Otherwise, excellent dining experience!

-Customer service: great -Food quality: good but not the best I've had -Bang for your buck: reasonable, similar to other cuisines in the area -Ambiance: nice, good for any meal (hanging out with family/friends or date night) -Would I return? Every now and then

Originally wanted Streetzlan but they were closed so instead of walking back to work defeated, I walked over to Tea Garden. Upon arriving, I was seated immediately with a menu at hand. Before walking in I already knew I wanted chow mien. I ended up getting their chicken chow mien lunch special which came with either fried rice or white rice. I ended up going for the fried rice to go along with my noodles and some hot tea. Carbs on carbs lol. After ordering I just browsed on my phone then less than 10 mins later, my food was in front of me. It was fresh and super hot. Just the way I like it. Noodles were good, fried rice was good. I ended up packing up the rice since the noodles filled me up. Overall, great first experience. Food was good, decently priced (food + tea came out to be like $14), service was good and fast, and restaurant was clean. I will be back on another lunch break. There were a lot of options to choose from so I now I gotta back to try these other options lol.

I drove 30 minutes for this food because every other Chinese food restaurant in my area has been terrible, this food was not worth the drive at all sadly ? the service was amazing but if I'm spending 16$ a serving for 4, each person, it better be worth it! Dam I wanted this to be a good place so much!! I won't make the trip again and I'm starting to think there aren't any good Chinese restaurants in the Sacramento area.
This was my 5th time to eat at the Tea Garden. The food here is always delicious. I had the beef with vegetables and it didn't disappoint me. If you like potstickers like I do try theirs.I loved them as well.My wife and our friend had the Generals chicken and they enjoyed their meals too.The service is great as well.Wished I lived closer to the restaurant because I would come here more often.

Thank you so so much Tea Garden restaurant for taking care of our huge group at such last minute notice. The food was delicious as always and our friends who joined us from the Bay Area were so impressed with how well you took care of us and how generous the portions of food are. We appreciate you and thank you again for accommodating us!

Loved this place! Our waitress and the rest of the staff were fabulous, the dining room was clean and bright, and oh my, the food! So delicious, not at all greasy, and no MSG madness. Won ton soup made everyone happy. A little pricey, but I'm thinking quality costs...and anyway, we had leftovers for another dinner! Definitely coming back.
