Boba was ok. Not chewy enough for me. Honestly tasted overcooked. Boba was overly sweet. Tea was just ok. This is your basic run of the mill boba shop that specializes in nothing really. Staff was nice at least.

Awesome little spot that is definitely worth stopping at. The name itself is even adorable.I have to say I was impressed with the presentation. The service was good and friendly. The drinks were adorable and very taste pleasing to the the vegan tastebuds and to men they do a few tasty options for us herbivores. I definitely will be making more pits stops to the teacup. I will be post more pictures of the actual drinks next time around. Yes indeed God bless

I ordered the hojicha milk tea, which was solid but nothing special. There are a few interesting add ons on the menu, which were not available. That would include tiramisu foam, ube puff cream, and matcha pudding. Those would make their drinks stand out more.

3.5 stars rounded up because the bathroom was so clean. My drink was good, if pretty standard; there are no real exciting items that I saw. Bonus points for having a sign right at the register letting people know what you're out of that day.As they were out of fries, I didn't have any food, so I can't judge that.My only real criticism is that I asked for more ice, less boba. I realize that's an unusual request, but a simple one. I got a drink that had A LOT of still-warm boba in it and very little ice, or what ice there was had already melted from the heat. So it wasn't the cool, refreshing treat I'd been hoping for.The place itself is cute, with fun wall art and a variety of seating. The music got bumped up while I was sitting there, and it was too loud for my personal comfort, so I didn't linger. But otherwise I'd say it's a good place to meet a friend and hang out for a bit.Parking: The strip mall was almost entirely dead around it, so there was plenty of parking open

stopped in for a quick cup of boba tea with some friends after a long day. the store is cute and low key - not a lot of people were there when we dropped by. we were served very quickly and the staff were pretty nice.drinks ordered: thai tea, oolong tea with cheese foam with crystal boba & mango green tea with lychee jelly. we loved ALL the drinks from here! they didn't have any of the artificial fruit flavors or powdered thai tea flavor/texture. most of us got 75% sweetness and it was perfect! ***my personal favorite is the mango green tea with lychee jellyps- they also serve some snacks here like takoyaki, popcorn chicken & mochi waffles but we didn't get a chance to try them tldr- you can't go wrong with any of the flavors & expect to get your drinks quick

I was in the neighborhood today and really wanted a Vietnamese coffee. I decided to give this place a try since there was a 25% off check-in offer off any drink.I was a bit surprised by the sign on the front door asking patrons to wear a mask. Have not seen that sign up in awhile on any store. Let's move forward with putting that expectation behind us. This is 2023. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee with light ice and 25% less sugar. I was the only one in the place ordering. Service was fast. The taste of the coffee was good. Strong with a slight burnt taste but not bitter. If they had placed much less ice in it, I would've enjoyed it longer, however, it was half ice. I will try them again next time I'm over there. Worth it for the taste.

Waited 27 mins for 3 drinks around 5:15 pm on a Monday. When I got my drink the girl that handed me my drink not only didn't apologize when I told her I waited this long and that 2 other guest thst came in after me paid and got there drinks before me didn't even thank me for visiting. I don't require much a thank you would have been alright, but with this lack of care, I will not be returning to this shop.

I was so happy I discovered Teacup! Out of the many boba and coffee locations in Elk Grove, this is my favorite one to revisit and camp out to do work. Not only are there a variety of drinks that are delicious and reasonably priced compared to the other locations where I'm paying $6-8, but there is plenty of seating, outlets, food, and is overall a good study environment. The only con was that sometimes the music can be loud, and it can be very cold at times, but those are minor in comparison. DRINKS: They have a great jasmine tea, sea salt coffee (strong and bold flavor), and mango sunrise (mango smoothie with blended strawberry and mango ice cream--omg delicious) drink! Their drinks tend to run on the sweeter side though, so I usually get 25%, and it tastes like my usual of 50% sweetness, so I would definitely recommend going down in sweetness. The only drink I haven't loved was the matcha me crazy, that was supposed to come with matcha pudding, but they unfortunately were out of it, so it was average.I've tried their fried tofu which isn't too bad, but I would want to ask for extra seasoning next time since it was very light in flavor.Overall, I'll definitely be returning to Teacup over and over again!
