The Meltdown is the bomb - mouthwatering warm cheesy meat that melts in your mouth. Not a big fan of melts in general but this place has won me over.The odd thing about the Meltdown is that it doesn't exist. Don't bother getting in the car and driving here unless you love Dennys. The Meltdown is a virtual restaurant operated by Dennys and their food can only be ordered online via Doordash or other food delivery service.Parking: This is a virtual restaurant only.
The hubs and I were in the Elk Grove area and decided to stop for dinner at Denny's. We were really impressed with the new decor and the renovations! It really looks great! The menus are updated, the food is delicious! The hubs orders his usual Bourbon Chicken Skillet (has never been disappointed) and I get my Mediterranean Grilled Chicken! We're here from a galaxy far, far away, described as 50miles NW of Chicago, but known locally as BFE. We ordered delivery to our hotel room this evening and the food arrived quickly and still hot. The sandwiches were amazing! Please open a Meltdown in NE IL. Please.
