The people are awesome, the food is awesome, the menu is huge. The only thing I hate about Ike’s is how few locations they have. They need to be everywhere, on every corner, like Subway.Vegetarian options: I’m not a vegetarian, but they have plenty of options for vegetarians.

Mushy overpriced sandwiches. Mostly bread and sauce. Soggy “oven toasted” fries.

Quick service, amazing sandwiches, and plenty of seating! Ike’s is one of my go-tos in Emeryville and throughout the Bay Area!

Absolutely amazingly perfect. So many vegan options it's like a vegan sandwich heaven. I came the day before my birthday but I literally wanted to go back for my birthday meal. Great service they helped explain if anything wasn't vegan or how to make any thing vegan. 100/10 so yummy

It's been many years since I've gone to an Ike's location. The last time I went, I went to the San Francisco location and remember there being a very long line out the door and a very long wait for my sandwich to be made. Fast-forward to present time, my experience was drastically different, in the best way possible.I stopped by around noon on a week day. Though it was lunch hour, there was only a single party in the whole restaurant. I ordered the Damon Bruce on Dutch crunch -- rib eye, onion rings, provolone, and steak sauce and within five minutes, my sandwich was ready. So fast! The sandwich was delicious and large enough for two to share. I love that toasted is the default for this sandwich. The sandwich is definitely on the expensive side -- $18, but if you can have it for two meals or split it between lunch and an afternoon snack, it doesn't feel as bad.Overall, really positive experience re-visiting Ike's after so many years. I'd definitely stop by again to try another one of their unique creations.

Thanks Jessica who keeps replying with canned words on negative reviews for at least the past year. Obviously the same issues persist. It feels like placating to reply, Jessica, if you're not instituting improvements.

Never enough employees. Multiple times they refused to take my order because they were backed up. Not to mention have to park very far just to be told I can't order lunch. Not making this mistake again.

Sad to make this review. I feel like Ike's went downhill since expanding. I remember being so excited whenever I made a little trip to get Ike's. Their sandwiches were full of flavor and made to perfection! But this time, I wasn't as enthused. I wanna say my experience is unique to Emeryville location, but it reminds me of my experience in the Hayward location as well.. so this is somewhat a review of Ike's in general also. I usually go to the Hayward location, but I came here because I was heading toward Berkeley. Ordered through Door Dash to pick up. Got a gluten free Mad Bum with extra meat, my usual order. The meat tasted so cheap, it felt like McDonald's quality. Although I ordered extra meat, it felt like there was more bread than meat. My expectations for gluten free bread isn't high, but I should note that it was hard to chew. It's something I have to deal with, being gluten intolerant, I guess? But I've had better gluten free bread elsewhere. I have a love-hate relationship with Ike's now. It's been hit or miss. This time was a miss.

I originally planned to eat at the Mongolian eatery just next door but it was closed so I decided to try this place out....glad the Mongolian place was closed because this place was a hit ! Best sandwich I've had in awhile and I travel a lot. I had the Madison Bumgarner (hope I spelled it correctly ).

Great sandwiches! The people there are very nice and kind. Our food is always nice and hot and well put together. My co-worker and I understand that there jobs sometimes can be a little challenging and they face there own personal things. But they work hard to stay pleasant and provide a clean, caring, and well organized establishment. Thank you guys for feeding us!

Worst sandwich I've ever had. Honestly subway would have been a better option. The sandwich should have had avocado but instead what you get is some green mush about 1 inch thick on the sandwich. There are about 4 pieces of thinly sliced turkey lunch meat and my order was missing toppings and sauce that was asked for on the side. 0/10 I wouldn't feed this to anyone I care about. Like how do you mess up a sandwich?! I ordered via uber eats
