Love their fish tacos! Tuna , grilled mahi mahi with lemon butter sauce. You choose the fish, how you want it cooked, the sauce.

The sides were good but the main event was the fish (obviously) and their seasoning. I'd recommend the tacos! Cool atmosphere with outdoor tables and big open windows/doors to make the inside feel a bit like outside too.

I love the salmon salad here. This place is walking distance from work so I eat it often and when I had a friend from out of town, I had him and my husband come meet me for lunch here because I wanted to share with others.

Our second time here in the last several years when in Encinitas, and it's still a great place for our seafood fix! Order at the counter and sit down for them to bring out your food order. This time, we tried the surf and turf tacos, fish and chips, and a dozen oysters. The food was so fresh and delicious as was our previous experience. Patio seating is pleasant for dinner and inside has seating and one side is a bar area with plenty of TVs to catch a game. Service is always courteous and friendly. I appreciated the manager letting us know about the local beers available as well as the options for wine offerings. There can be a line during peak hours, but be patient since those fish tacos and beer are worth it. See you at the Fish Shop on our next trip.

Food was disappointing, clam chowder was bland even with the addition of andoullie sausage. Onion rings were under done and still doughy on the inside . Service was non existent after they delivered the food.

Good was not good. Onion rings and fish had to much batter that was not fully cooked. Clam chowder tasked like flour.Staff was amazing. Friendly and helpful.

Best fish and chips I've had in a while. The portion was big enough for two people. The batter was nice and crispy, not too thin, not too thick. Tartar sauce was very savory and paired well with the fish. My family stopped in on a rainy day and everyone was still very nice to us. Can't wait to go back.

First time trying the place and first with undercooked fish with chips and last time I will ever revisit. The fish was still cold, wet, and hard.

Stoked on this place until I bought their seasoning to realize that 1/5 of the ingredients is MSG.It seemed like a genuine spot until realizing they put chemicals in the food to trick your brain into liking it.

I got a rare illness called scromboid from here. Literally was told only 10 people a year in California get this. Never coming back. Food negligence laws in California are no joke...
