Great date night and sitting at the high tops is fun! The staff are like family and treat us well:). Food is so good:).

My family and I were so underwhelmed by the food. Completely overpriced for pasta dishes and not worth it. The meatballs were bland and needed salt among other things, sauces were bland, and the ambiance gives an air of pretentiousness for a dated setting. Have had authentic Italian nearby for almost half the price. Save yourself the disappointment.

We pop in occasionally for lunch. I really enjoy their patio, the bread is tasty and better than many Italian restaurants(I really think a restaurant could win over customers with an excellent bread service). I occasionally get a craving for their Capellini al Pomodoro, which is a simple angel hair with a savory yet meatless red sauce.

Very nice Italian near Rancho Santa Fe. The food is good and plentiful, on the homey side. We enjoyed the ravioli and sausage platters and some delicious wine. The lasagne is very good but quite heavy...be prepared to take a doggy bag home.

For years this has been our favorite restaurant. This made our second time in a month eating there. The food has become vary tasteless and bland it must be a new cook that uses no seasonings. Vary sad.

I am Italian, born and raised in Italy. This place is an insult to Italian and world cuisine.Starting with the menu, but didn't you really have $50 to pay a seventh generation Italian to have the various "sausages" and "mushrooms" corrected for you? Do we want to talk about crabcake translated as "crab cake"?And then the dishes. The carbonara has cream, ham, peas and onion. But really? The rest are all dishes with a mountain of garlic, buckets of sauce and vomits of melted cheese.I tried to limit the damage and ordered the baked rigatoni. Unfortunately there was little to do and they sucked. The rest of the table had aubergine parmigiana, greasy and greasy in a lake of sauce, with accompanying pasta and green beans.Staff ok. A slap in the face place with horrible murals of Florence. Then they ask me why I don't go to Italian restaurants in San Diego...

We always enjoy Firenze. It's dependable and the food never disappoints. Most of the wait staff has been working there for a long time so they know how to treat customers well. Overall, it's our go-to for a local restaurant, without question.

We had a lovely meal with friends at this beautiful restaurant. That atmosphere was so welcoming and cozy, and the food was absolutely delicious. The portions were large and the service spot on.

This is the perfect place for an intimate date. The mood is very nice here. The food is amazing! The lasagna was my absolute favorite. In fact, I could not finished the entire thing because it was massive! I can't wait to go back. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

We went on Valentine's day with a special menu. Menu had a good choice for a 3 course dinner. Food was good except under salted pasta that was in the halibut dish. Service was exceptionally good, we had the same waiter as approx. 6 months ago.

Our Valentine dinner was absolutely superb! But then I am not surprised, I have been coming here for over 20 years and they never cease to amaze...they always outdo themselves to make their diners comfortable. Excellent service, over the top ambience, and the dinner was to die for! Thank you, Firenze Trattoria!

We had a wonderful night. Our server Bill as always, was awesome. He is such a gentleman and truly knows how to treat his customers. Holly, the General Manager makes us feel special with her kindness and warmth. Both are an asset to Firenze. A definite return in the near future.

A very reliable, serviceable, comfortable restaurant with very good food. Try the chicken meatballs at the bar and the eggplant rollatini in the dining room.
