Highly recommend their Texcoco soup. Both locations offer consistently good food. Their fish tacos are always fresh and stay crisp. The staff is great about special requests for orders and unlike many other taco shops has always gotten our requests for our somewhat picky daughter correct. Great Mexican food in Encinitas!

The WORST chile relleno burrito I've had in all North County's Mexican restaurants! There was a thin slice of a chile, scrambled egg just thrown in with a smear of beans and too much enchilada sauce. I was served a giant tortilla without a WHOLE chile relleno!!! Do NOT BOTHER eating here/ it's a rip off.

Ordered a bean and cheese burrito and added asada to it and the guy at the register charged me for a carne asada burrito and added beans and minus the guacamole and pico. I asked to be charged for a bean and cheese and add the asada cause I don't wanna pay for the extras that I'm not getting on my burrito and he said that's the only way he can do it

only gave atmosphere 3 stars because it was only my first time buying there and it was a take out. I'll have to try and dine in there one of these days and only then I can probably give 5 stars? I love their salsa though! Service was good the cashier was nice and welcoming. also since it was my first time, there was no seat available to sit to wait for the order wince it was packed so I didn't know where to stand or wait? I was just everywhere but then again, first time.. I'll get used to it?

The ambiance is confusing but who cares because the food and service are excellent. I recommend everything from breakfast burritos to their FAMOUS CHICKEN SOUP made fresh daily in house. Partner this with their homemade tortillas and you're in heaven.

The older lady working the cash register immediately started arguing with me upon arrival because I did not answer her in Spanish. I let her know to the best of my ability that I do not speak Spanish and I am not Mexican. She asked, so I told her that I am Apache. She said “well Apache’s are kind of Mexican” to which I replied that no they aren’t and they do not speak any form of Spanish. She says “Well then I’m sorry for you….and for me.” I finally get my burrito and it sucks ?? the meat had a strange seasoning and everything else was bland.
