Love this Rubio's location The food is always fresh and served hot The manager and workers are very nice There's plenty of room for different size parties You can't forget about the Tuesdays specials where the tacos are a steal. The fish tacos are more expensive than el Pueblo but the quality and freshness is much better here. Their salsa bar is delicious. This location deserves 5 stars.

It’s a nice restaurant however whenever I order online the order is wrong or missing items. The last order I had the forgot my side of beans and gave me a child bean and cheese instead of adult. The bowls we got had hard crunchy rice and the portion sizes were significantly less. Idk if it’s certain employees because the orders are usually worse when the younger teenage men are working, however the quality care is just not there. I like rubios but this location is not consistent - it used to be but it’s no longer a reliably good meal.

Sad to say that I ordered three tacos on grub hub as well extra sides. No salsa that's kind of how I judge the many many taco shops around here. Super disappointed. Do you need to request? It wasn't on the menu options. Won't order here again.

I want to start by saying that this is my favorite Rubios location in San Diego.I come here almost every other day and the food, presentation, and prices are exceptional. The salsa bar is alwaysclean and well-stocked.The Gourmet Chicken Taco Plateis my personal favorite here.The people are also outstanding. Jose (manager), Cambria, Cassie, and Sam deserve a very special shout-out. I'm missing others and I'll add more names hereonce I meet them all.Cheers.
I got the shrimp taco platter. It was inedible. There was some non-identifiable thing wrapped inside the taco, I couldn’t tell if it was meat or vegetable. The tacos were soggy. The chips were soggy. And I ordered rice and instead got beans. I have just walked out and will never return. Oh, and finally, they have the nerve to ask for a tip before you get served. Never going back.
