This is a great location! The owner is always very friendly, the food is always very fresh and you can tell that he takes great pride in his business and that he is a really stand up guy! I see the reviews complaining about coupons and I sympathize with the business owner because corporate puts out the deals and the franchise owners are the ones that eat the cost, he's not getting rich- he's just a hard worker trying to run a business.

It's been a while since I last visited a subway, but I must say I was very impressed by the service I received from the gentleman who helped me the other day. I wish I got his name, but he was a middle-aged man with a shaved head and dark hair (what little hair he did have anyways) - he also had an accent. he was very friendly and went out of his way to remind me of the different types of bread that Subway had available and he also recommended his favorite favorite type of sandwich to me. If Subway Management sees this, please recognize him for going above and beyond, and being a very helpful and courteous employee. The only reason I'm not giving this five stars is because the prices were definitely a little steep comparative to the quality of the food. With that being said, the employee who helped me was absolutely wonderful and I do plan on coming back specifically because of him.

The Subway in Encinitas on Santa Fe is great. They accepted our BOGO coupon and were friendly and very helpful. I'm on Social Security and use coupons regularly to save money.(The Subway on Mission in Oceanside was completely different. They refused to accept our BOGO coupon.)Parking: We got a parking space in front of the restaurant in Encinitas.

Horrible service. The cashier was rude and refused to add veggie on the side for our order of three sandwiches. (Which was order of more than 40 dollars) we got three sandwiches without any veggies. Just to add that I came with my daughters for Mother’s Day . Catchier name was Sona.

I like that they cut the meat almost to order it makes a difference. It used to be a quick place to get a sandwich.The problem is now that they are cutting the meat every few minutes it slows everything down. I see the workers struggling with those plastic gloves that they give them it doesn't look like they can move very quickly if they spent a few pennies more on some nice fitting gloves they could move a lot faster I don't see why they're doing this.

ZERO STARS. We came in because their location showed the deal for sandwiches and we asked the douche bag that works here if we can use it he immediately says that no they don't do that and so we said okay fine we will order online then. I grabbed chips and put it back after because we needed to use the restroom at Rite Aid. We ended up buying snack there since this guy didn't bother helping us when we came in. We returned to pick up our food we PAID for. He then tells the woman handing me my sandwiches if I had chips. I said no, I put it back and bought my own chips from the store you can check the camera. Why would I STEAL a tiny bag of chips when we PAID for our food already. The worst service and has the audacity to treat customers like TRASH. Just be aware that when you come get food you'll be accused of being a scum bag thief too lol. FIRE THAT GUY.

Subway is subway, but it's puzzling when one day I'm told no coupons at this location. Then on another visit the person in front of me is using coupons, but only the ones the employee agrees to. Oh, and don't expect to use your subway gift card here, that was also denied. The problem is, you order everything before you know any of this. Put up a sign?
