Outstanding, fluffy donuts, and the lady who runs the shop is really nice. Make sure you bring cash to pay, since it's cash only. Definitely worth going out of your way to give this shop a try.

I don't feel great leaving a mediocre review for a small business but after my most recent visit here I don't think we'll return. Like other reviews mentioned, the lady who runs it is so nice and is generous with freebies, but the shop looked so poorly maintained. It needs a very deep cleaning. The health score noted on the Yelp profile indicates so as well. The trashcan was overflowing already by 7:30 am. Two of the donuts we got were fine but one tasted at least a day old and looked like it, too. Easy parking in the big lot shared with Dollar Tree, cash only, limited indoor seating.

Two kids liked the donuts as much as our usual place, one did not…so 4 stars on the actual donuts. But the place is very dirty and cluttered…so one star on that. This was my second time here and it was the same then too.

Are the best donuts definitely my favorite in Encinitas. It's hard to pick just one. Sarah is sweet and friendly best donuts in Encinitas. Even got extra donut when I was there. She even has weekend donuts for the little ones. Ones look like elmo and cookie monster.Kid-friendliness: Weekends has donuts that look like cookie monster makes the little ones so happy.

After nearly 15 years, this is still our donut stop. Sure, we've tried others when something new opens up or when we're traveling, but Super Donuts 2 has still not been outdone. We get them for us, for a full house when we're hosting, or to feed a hungry hoard of girls on a camping trip. And they are always a hit. I've been known to grab an Apple Fritter or two to snack on for a solo weekend when the family is away. I've also strolled out carrying three boxes full of goodness for a reasonable price. Never disappointed, unless I come by late and all the Crullers are gone, and I always come ready with cash now. Stop looking for a better donut shop and stop by. You won't be disappointed.

Where do I even begin? Amazing donuts as well service! It gives me mom and pop donut shop vibes. The lady who runs the place is super nice, definitely give her a tip! She always throws in extra donuts and you don't even notice! 10/10 (all though it isn't as good as Krispy Kreme it's more reliable and the owner is nice, also they never run out of things)

I couldn’t believe the level of service I received at this donut shop. I was on the way to a meeting and dying for some coffee and a little snack. I was actually dizzy because I hadn’t eaten in 24 hours and quickly googled a donut shop because I was so hungry. I walked in and saw a cash only sign and devastated because I knew I had no cash. The woman was so sweet and said it’s okay you can pay me later ??? I was so in shock and she served me the most delicious coffee and jalapeño croissant. I almost hesitated to post this because I don’t want anyone walking in thinking they’ll get something free (or take advantage) but I was so profoundly touched by her generosity (of course I returned and paid). Who knew an $8 coffee and croissant would be so meaningful but I was literally so touched by that and thought about it all day. I will say they have a customer for life after that! I’m only five minutes away so will make sure to get my morning coffee from them as much as possible. Amazing food and service 10/10. My new favorite donut shop and I will brag to everyone I know about their jalapeño ham and cheese croissants! The coffee is better than Starbucks and the croissant is the best I have ever had! Can’t believe I barely discovered this hidden gem!

If I could give this place 100 stars I would. It's a throwback to the 80s on the donut scene but a premonition into the future on how your tastebuds will be dancing with the light on how good these donuts are. The owner and principal is probably the hardest working person in this country and she takes her craft seriously. If you want, fancy and subpar, go elsewhere

Finally got to try the donuts here. The woman was super nice and friendly. It's your old fashion, no perks, delicious donuts! I wanted to try the ham and cheese croissant but they sold out before I got there and that was around 8:30am. Not a lot of space inside, it's more of a grab and go. Cash Only! The donuts were yum!!

I was in Encinitas in need of coffee and maybe something sweet. I found Super Donuts 2 on Yelp! close by with 4.7 s and decided to give them a try. The coffee was large, not and good and I grabbed an apple fritter at the recommendation of the owner...it was a home run! It was crunchy on the outside and soft and gooey and full of apples on the inside and was, dare I say, better than VGs... I'll have to go back to see how the rest of their goods stand up but I'm still thinking of that apple fritter days later (granted, I don't have a lot going on in my life right now). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
